Mad respect for Ben trying to do the right thing for himself, his wife, and his family.
i understand the family aspect and i don't mind them taking breaks to be with they kids and family but i hope Asking Alexandria doesn't end as a band

@@williamlambert they’ve had a replacement the last few months. Not only is he lead guitar but he’s helping Danny with screams. You can see it on RUclips if you look up there previous shows.

It was a crude/raw interview, but we must be fair: Ben prioritizing family than touring is admirable. If the future is being only studio band, i will supporting the guys til the end.
i think they should do some tour like 1 for year, only 3 months and thats all. like when the normal people have ''vacations''
same for me, Asking Alexandria became my second or 3rd most favorite band for like 13years. first will always be Linkin Park
asking is my top 1 or 2 favourite band (bmth is there too) , i discovered them in 2016 with the black. but when i listened the other albums... i fel in love with danny and his vocals@@KrC_Games

Honestly I rather have the guys put family first they’ve been touring for years and they needed a break and I am grateful that if they don’t make music it’s okay cause family is always first like Ben said and if they retire as a band it’s okay
Apparently this is the unpopular opinion but I think this is some of the best work they’ve EVER done. Totally nailed they’re goal of everything in one album. Well done bois
Lovely to see he’s doing the dad thing instead of hiring someone and hitting the road, lucky kids to have such an amazing hands on dad.
As amazing as it would be to see him play live no one can discredit him for putting his family first!

wow, hearing about Ben's wife is so sad, i really want him to be able to cater to his wife and family, from a fans perspective. he's really always been a family man since i discovered them and i love that. much love to you and your family Ben!
I hope Ben will keep creating music as long as possible,I appreciate him a lot and I believe that he deserves most of the credit behind Asking Alexandria.
Sounds like life has been very hectic for Ben. So sorry to hear about his wife's condition; that's terrible. Hopefully Paul Bartolome (the new touring guitarist) practises his ass off to learn Ben's parts; that's all he can do at this point. I'm planning to review the new album and to have that review posted on my channel on release day next Friday. I have basically grown up with these guys' songs; it's pretty wild.
Who watching this after Ben left Asking Alexandria in 2024? Totally understandable man but it sucks he was always the backbone of the band. Chilled w AA back in a couple times in 2016-17 and he was always a solid dude. Wish nothing but the best for him and AA
a part of me doesn't want to accept your decision, my inner teenager it's upset he never got the chance to se AA live with the founding members
But as an adult I respect his decision and wish the best to Ben
Asking Alexandria has been one of my most favorite bands since they first started. I have a Asking Alexandria shirt on right now, and An Asking Alexandria patch on my spiked Battle Vest.

It sounds like AA could be done soon or Ben might leave which i understand you guys are awesome and exactly family is important I'm in a band and being away from family and girlfriends and friends is tough i can only imagine what a bigger band might go through. Best of luck to you guys

Just take AA and be a studio band. No touring, no albums. Just record in your home studios, release it independently. People will listen. Hell I guarantee if you do some sort of patreon of sort people will pay to see BTS stuff like recording process and whatnot.
Then if you really want a show just do weekends, the everyday touring is a haul not only physically but mentally. Every few months pick a city and book fri/sat there. Fly in, venue provides back line and go from there.
It’s not asking Alexandria without Ben Bruce. Wouldn’t want to see them live withour him

Good for Ben focusing on his family. However..Part of me believes that he’s tired of Danny’s forgettable buttrock and his ego and that’s probably the bigger reason why he left/took a hiatus. Pleasing Danny will lead to nothing but number 50 on the billboard rock charts .
This is the end of asking alexandria. I can smell it in the air. Last album is so uninspired...so unsoulful. And this interview.. well, thanks for a good ride folks

Doesn’t sound that way at all considering he said he’s still writing more songs for them.
As he said touring isn’t an option due to family commitments and that’s just beautiful to see.
Also Ben probably owns the AA name, so if he left, there would probably be a long process to change ownership
