Great review … loved seeing them all compared to each other. I own a Caravel 19cb … so naturally my vote goes to the Bambi 19cb . There’s something about the front traditional dinette with all the great windows that seems the most airstreamish . I’m 6’1 and 200 lbs … my wife is 5’6 and 125 lbs and we both fit well in the corner bed . It’s a cozy fit but it works just fine for us :)

Thanks, Mr. and Mrs. Chad, that was fun. We live in our Caravel 19cb full-time, and it is perfect for us (as you stated, there's an Airestream floorplan for everyone). Occasionally a grandchild will stay with us, and as much as we love our grandchildren, a third person, even a little one, quickly becomes very crowded.
We love the front dinette window. I like to say, so as to affirm non-Airstreamer's opinions about Airstreamers, that we sit in the dinette, eat caviar, drink chamapign, and watch the little people. 😀

hahaha "eat caviar, drink Champaign, and watch the little people!" to funny!

Love your videos! We love our 20fB Caravel! The upgrades to the caravel are totally worth it! And I would totally upgrade for a larger bed or twin! But not compromise my kitchen and bathroom!,

Another great video, Chad (and Laura). 1000% agree with you on modifying the 20FB floor plan. We've been enjoying our Caravel 20FB since purchasing from you in September, but...a twin bed (or even a queen) option would make it perfect. The twins in the 23FB are 80" long, so that adds 32" to the 20FB (which is technically 21'). Should net a total of about 23' 8" for that configuration. Guaranteed to become a top seller in that layout. Hopefully, the folks in Jackson Center take notice of your mock-ups. Oh...and incorporate the power and tech upgrades from the Trade Wind, along with the recirculating water heater, and you've got a solid winner. I'd definitely be scheduling my next trip to Greensboro to trade up. 😉

Hi Chad. 'Really enjoyed the video and enjoy all of your videos; you've an "every-man's approach that's refreshing, unafraid to critique when necessary. Laura is a great addition both in front of and behind the camera.
When I was young I never thought I would afford a Harley but eventually did. Setting foot inside an Airstream 30 years ago, I "got it" and it's been what I've desired ever since. Inherent of the design, they simply provide more ambient reflected light than any RV bar none. Upon release of the Tradewind (now my model of choice), though completely outside my financial means, perhaps one day I'll check it off much as I'd done the Harley.
Hats off to you and "Patrick" for making the best Airstream videos on RUclips, for each of you augments the other in complimentary styles leaving us the viewer well informed.
You're a little closer to me from SoCal than Colonial, so on a whim of fantasy- a cross country road trip to you in my tow vehicle and back to SoCal with my dream unit.
    A fun dream anyways😉

I know some people have a pad built for that space up there the bulkhead part. That's where the dog sleeps.

We like the 19'. Because of the seating area, really doesn't matter front or rear seating. On poopy days you can seat lookout the massive windows. And visitors have more room too. Kitchen size really is not a big thing to us, not much you can do with a MQ and 2 burners. OHH with to commode too high? Excellent squatty potty sales feature LOL!! The awning is what brings us to either the Bambi or Caravel over the Basecamp. Interesting all 3 series have same water capacity. Too bad the big Bambi don't offer front or rear seating. GREAT VIDEO!!!

I like the 20 foot Bambi better due to the dinette not being U-shape. You could sit 4 people comfortably versus the U-shape dinette.

I’d prefer a regular dinette in the 22 and replace with storage.

Me too! Airstream would need to go to a 8' 5.5" wide body to do it. The Bambi is a 8' wide body.
