This series of Irish classic patterns has been awesome. I've been on a lough-style fly tying kick recently and it's been hard to source quality reference materials being from Southern California. Believe it or not these patterns are still relevant fish-catchers today. Thanks a million Davie.

Hi Davie, The Fiery Brown Bumble really is a striking pattern in your TC Kingsmill Moore series. Really like the colour combinations and your choice of modern materials for this fly. Best regards, Wayne 😀👍

Love the flies. I have fished at Delphi many times, the last time I was there (2023) I was talking to another fisherman on the banks of Doo Lough, when he told me he had taken two salmon the day before on a Booby fly. Oh dear, what would Kingsmill Moore have said? BTW I blanked on my traditional flies, makes you think.

Another lovely pattern. I love the look of Red Grouse. I have a hard time finding Chinese necks. Would you share a source?

India hen necks are the same thing.

@@billwoodrome3882 the Chinese I used to get were a bit longer and slightly better quality. I can use my India necks but miss those longer hackles I used to get.

      Hi @ross1458,
Most of the Chinese capes I have I've had for many years though some of them came from Veniards who do get them in from time to time so if you know of a supplier of them then they may be able to get some for you..You can also find them on Ebay as well so if you do a search you could find the ones that you are looking for...I bought the Grouse I have from Cookshill Tackle, I have attached a link below for you to see..cookshill-flytying.co.uk/game-skin-range/
      All the very best Davie
