I hate this show ifthey actually found something interesting it would be all over the news this is all much to do about nothing. Stop putting reality shows on my History channel. Ohhhhh a possible button. If I want to watch construction I'll go to work
@@jonathanperry8331 lol
Lol yeah these chumps are wasting there time and money and every other idiot who tunes in to watch
You have this video in Forged in Fire list
Been watching since day one. Once you new people understand the scope of everything then you will grasp the excitement of every little thing found.
Yes, every little find that has been placed there by the producers, the occasional stone formation doesn’t mean treasure 😂
@@gumjuicee6746 don't like it, don't watch it 😒
@@brentfellers9632 I’ll come back every 5 years to see what coins and horse shoes they’ve found during that time! No need to watch!
I too have watched it from the beginning. I stopped at season 4. I can watch my grandchildren dig around the creek on my property and find arrowheads and fossils. Way more interesting.
I agree!
I like the show. I will watch it till the end no matter what they find. I find it interesting.
Two Scoops Billy is doing a fantastic job
What a SIGNIFICANT find!
That button is a top pocket find FOR SURE!!! Woooo weeeee!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Just found a sock I lost a month ago, now I try to find the other one, keep you posted might be another 3 seasons to find it!!!
This comment is pure gold.
Could it possibly be a lost sock.....or was it left behind when the foot left. Or is it a sign left by the knight templers to mark the way to a treasure of socks......
Yes, and if you discovered the other one that same night it'll have been TWO HUGE FINDS IN ONE DAY
Wow! They finally dug up some bags of GOLD!!!
...Oh, wait, it's just a button.
And maybe... possibly... something that could be... a piece of a fire grate.
Right 15 years now lol
Can't wait for the island to just collapse in onto itself from all the digging, and just eat them machinery and all. That would be the best season and show finale ever.
You are one sad little boy 👦 u need Jesus buddy
Don't give them an out we already know the whole shows a fraud
100 years from now a new series. Finding the lost treasure hunters and the treasure
Just give it up. 8 seasons and they are still finding exciting buttons or an amazing firepit.
i am from nova scotia my family has lived here a long time generations. this legend has been a huge interest to us here always. but the way theyre conducting the dig can be agonizing for us locals at times lol
What’s the odds it was something to do with very early commercial fishing? Just a guess.
@@liamgross7217 you never know brother! its very likely lots of things were done there certainly was a very active industrial place
@@woodsjos I’m not surprised there was a lot going on there, it helps explain what they have been finding. Be well, cheers from Australia 🇦🇺🍺
@@liamgross7217 cheers brother! from coast to coast.
The curse of oak island is that it cemented the trend for the History channel to become a theme park of a television network, and forsake all of its good qualities.
Next episode. Finding lint in a bellybutton.
Wake me up when they find anything. The only curse is that they held my interest for the first few seasons.
@richard daluca relax simp
@richard daluca ok strap on.
So true a TV con game
Not a “button” a “bote’n”. 😂
Years of finding an occasional piece of something. I've had more exciting finds in my backyard. Tell me when they find something of value.
Nobody asks you to watch. If you find it that bad don't watch
I just come here for the comments now. 😆 🤣
Your statement is true ...
soooooooo boring lost interest after the second season... a TV con game
@@joehouses5097 Me too. Some comments are so spot on funny.
Bro they found something valuable
Love the show! Been watching it since the beginning. Amazing how devoted these guys are to finding history... fortune, hopefully🙏. They certainly work hard enough for a payoff...
how gullable are you......lol
@@michaelmelnyk8624During COVID do you have something better to watch than the History channel? Maybe, Reality TV😉
FANTASTIC! More wood!
Very interesting!
Hopefully you'll be able to find more out there!
Who knows?
Holy moly Gary shows off a metal button that fell out of his pocket. That is a very important find there! It proves there were men on this island a long long time ago and they wore button down shirts. This button could have belong to Samuel Ball! We're on to something big here. Better send it to the lab to learn more about it.
Yup, its getting more thrill and excited its find.
i love the show, miss dave and dan, i read the same article in readers digest, and found it just as compelling. last season i deceided i didnt want them to find anything cause they will end the show, but i think they they have found a ship. the funniest thing about this is the comments!! you guys are funny!!!
Lets go season 9
Top pocket find baby!
Wilsson,yeeeeeaaaaahhhhhh BaBeeeeeeeeee!,top pocket!
It's like watching Geraldo Rivera opening Al Capone's vault.
That fire pit on the side of the road was for heating up the tar used in the repair of ships.
Garry has a whole team of diggers this week! I bet if he ever goes gold detecting he won’t let anyone near his finds. 👍🏻🇦🇺
Omg I found a button... Wow! SMH!!
You don't seem to understand much
Brotha season 8 an still just buttons? Can they find a piece of actual treasure. Just a piece please
Why would they do that? Then they couldn't milk another 8 years out of a terrible show
They’ve never found a thing it’s all bollocks lol!
Right 8 season they still ain't find nothing
That button was in Gary's shirt pocket. He hid it in the mud than pretended to find it with unfailable super, duper metal detector.
What a Bobby dazzler Gary that cuff button is definitely the find of a century it probably came off a coat from someone guarding the money pit haaa
Reminds me of a documentary years ago about digging up a mammoth .anyone know how that ended ,other than a block of ice with a tusk sticking out of it ?
A button ... 😂
Lol I get so tired of seeing the shocked looks... In a 40 minute episode they pack in like 15 shocked looks. It gets SO OLD
Lol I get so tired of people taking the time to comment on these videos to complain about the show. It gets SO OLD
@@petediaz9173 maybe all the comments are wrong and spending millions to find nothing is great entertainment? Or the 99% are right
12 years.....billons spent ....and all ya got is a stinkin button...?
I can pick that up in an antique shoppe
Really... Billions, I don’t think that the brother’s are billionaires so I don’t think you comment has anything to do with any reality. It’s their money to do with what you want anyway you look at it . If no “ Treasure” is found the history that is being uncovered I find rather interesting . I remember people like you laughing at another treasure hunter called Mel Fisher my guess is you never heard of him .
I'll wait. And bet you no you won't bud

Who's actually paying for all the expensive equipment used to butcher the island?
I would imagine the brothers are close to scraping crumbs up off the floor!
Oh no they have millions and a winery 🍷
@@DramaMustRemainOnTheStage 😬
118 episodes on the History Channel has to be worth something.
@@mjinba07, not enough to pay for all that digging.
Yes the brothers have money, but I'm willing to bet that someone else's deep pockets are footing the bills.
a lot of that is donated ... can't buy advertising like the show gives those contractors ... garce
Gary Drayton speaks very similar to the Ross from friends series
These people must have lost a lot of buttons and coins.
Wow they found 200 year old landfill
The only person who hasn’t been suspected of being involved in burying the treasure is Charles Lindbergh.
Yeah, and that’s exactly why they called him, “Lucky Lindy!” Lol!
They will find it when cruse is removed! I need yo contact them!!
Just two gold coins would make me happy. For now
Nothing more than a huge water purification system for the Island stronghold of a pre-Acadian existence.
Massive BLUE BALLS
we can send a man to the moon, but can't find a buried treasure....
I ~LOATHE~ the scripted conversations, the fake drama, the constant rehashing, and the lack of real information in these shows. They are all put together in the same way - trying to make something out of absolutely nothing.
it could have been one of the greatest shows ever , if not for those scripts ... some is okay , but
when they have to chew up a whole episode on recaps and script , it gets discouraging ... garce
I love telling low production staff that they are as productive as Oak Island
OH, FGOODY ! They should milk that for 6 or 7 MONTHS ! "COULD IT BE A BUTTON FROM THE MONEY BAG OF THE DISCIPLES, JESUS TOLD THEM NOT TO HAVE ?"
*You obviously need to get "most" of the dirt off that piece, but you don't want to clean it off, see if you can get trace samples off of any soot on that piece of grate. Maybe they were using it to crack rock? Maybe they were using it to burn wood? Maybe they were smelting in a pot sitting on the grate? TEST IT.*
In this episode the intrepid treasure hunters have just discovered 2 significant finds. A button, possibly a military button from either a French or English soldier. What could be the significance of slovenly dressed military personnel is still to be determined but next the team has uncovered a very significant find. A piece of cast iron possibly from a grate. What more will be uncovered? The adrenaline is certainly pumping as the team keeps on searching. And searching. And searching. And sear....
This should be renamed Joke Island
Another astonishing find! What a waste of resources....
So in 5+ years they couldn’t unearth that pathway and couldn’t find the original shaft .... am I right ?
One eyed Willy is around here somewhere.
Nice work 🌠✨🎆
Cool stuff
Ok so the button doesnt mean there was someone there before the money pit ... it could have been a coat handed down through time or was worn by a pirate that took it of a body after the pirates took over a naval ship ... or possibly it was a plant to make the show more interesting.
Maybe that button belonged to a shirt that washed ashore along with millions of other trash that washes up every day. Thank God they have a metal detector expert on hand, people with that level of expertise are impossible to find.
so far , they have not found any condoms , nor hypodermic needles ....
I bet you that button belongs to Jack Squat....
SO WHY IS THIS IN THE "FORGED IN FIRE" PLAYLIST? MUST'VE BEEN A MISTAKE.
If they didn’t have a show what would they be doing ? The Hoax Island 5 minutes of fame ran out 4 minutes and 59 seconds ago .
Ohhh a button

The only treasure out there is the digging chick and Verizon making a shitload of money from the phone calls made to Rick about amazing finds!!!
nothing is huge here but the BS
Stopped watching this show after they found a sword-shaped brass fire-ornament, got told by staff at St Mary's that it was a brass fireplace poker and then drove home muttering about finding proof of the Romans. Now they've got an on-staff dude who drops hints about Romans non stop. "A fire grate. That kind of thing goes back to the Roman days" I mean why stop there? There's water all around the island. Romans drank water, they sailed on it... This kind of show is why we don't even have this channel in our house anymore.
Miriam is so pretty
She is a pretty lady
Gary invests twenty-five thousand dollars on a new metal detector that's guaranteed to find buried pirates treasure but all it detects is junk and one brass button.
Button up, what's cooking?
I searched comedy and this came up.
2 Huge finds? Compared to what, nothing?
I love how people get so bent out of shape when they just find more small artifacts. Like this ain’t a movie. Go watch the mummy if you want excitement. This is real history real archaeology. Real artifacts being dug yo and real events that happened. It’s a show meant to entertain you and inform you in a given time. But it’s real history. At least show a little respect that we get to see this. I remember the legend before the show and we should all be lucky we get to see history unfold before our eyes.

The narrator is the gold on this show!
These guys have been digging so much... They can't find anything because there is nothing.. Its all a show
And You Will Find More Treasure's Very Soon.
Could it be?
Hi to all.... what happens when digging down they come across the treasurer how will they get it up I believe who ever had the treasurer they dug in not down so the stone path is above the tunnel
Only the 68th huge discovery in this show and nothing to show for still lol
They need to drink some more so their noses can turn even more red and swollen.
Been watching for years, losing its appeal, all those years and c'mon already, either you find it..or..

@@DramaMustRemainOnTheStage nah, obviously not, been hanging on for years...just want them to yell freaking Eureka already!!
I have a barbecue not just a fire grade I think I let my dog bury it so I can discover it again
Huge finds? Lol!
Then the treasure?
Love the show and never miss an episode, but what really bugs me thru every episode is the narrators voice and the sing-song pronunciations and every sentence ending with a dramatic question mark sound. STOP IT STOP IT STOP IT! You’re making me nuts, besides you’re doing it on other shows I love. I’ll have to start muting you. GO AWAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY‼️✅
yes , a different narrator would be a blessing .. who do you like ?
I laugh at all these people in the comments that just poke at the show....do you think finding stuff in the ground thats hundreds/thousands of years old is as simple as just digging 1 hole? What your witnessing is a real dig...takes many years. Yall are use to watching your youtube videos where in 10min they cover 10 yrs worth of digging and recovery. Its called archeology. Not your thing? Thats cool...just dont hate on the things many of us care about...History

This is another instance of Gary finding something that looks like it had already been dug or partially excavated then recovered for him to metal detect it (2:46). And the way the archaeologist picks it up makes me think she knew what it was there. She grabs it out of the ground and hands it to someone else without recording it seems very non-archeology like. I love the show and think there is something on the island, but don't stage things for us. I would like to see it as it happens.
History channel is pretty much clickbait at this point
Ok. I like the story that they are unfolding here. BUT……… have some serious questions about providence of some finds.
The button was found by one person. Not shown in situ. Identified by the person that found it and dated immediately by same person. That date fits perfectly into the story.
So often this same person goes metal detecting in a new area,, not checked before, then discovers something “ important” within 1 minute of starting his search…
Nothing to see here..?????
Ok they now know ships parked there. 2 TO 300 years ago the terrain was different.
if they gather all d garbage they took on dat island couple of years ago and sell it,thats d money pit 😅😂
