Wow that is such fantastic news…man so excited for you to get a chance to see/ride the EV bikes and the birthplace of the Spyder. This is going to be so cool. BRP if you read this, come on hook up Smoak with a wonderful Spyder. Love the Spyder day at work, man that limited has seen some rough rides for sure. Looking forward to the fix. Have a great one👍
Awesome! You will really enjoy visiting the BRP plant in Valcourt (the Mother Ship as John and Miriam called it!). I would really enjoy meeting you in Valcourt if you have the time. Cheers Shawn!
I was always leery of using wiring/extensions that weren't branded for the R/C equipment I was using. I'd say you got lucky that you didn't burn it up completely. Cool beans! Another awesome invite by BRP! Does Kelly get to go again too? Peace and love.
Wow that belt was worn out. My 2012 RT has some corrosion in the back from salt air as well. The plates for the wheel adjustment have lost their powder coating as has part of the sprocket. My belt is fine. When it’s time for a tire I will address that. Very cool you get to go to BRP HQ, that will be fun. Sucks those connectors weren’t properly insulated, you could have had a real expensive issue. Great vid! Be well Smoaks!
Salt corrosion is one thing, but riding in sand and dirt can eat things up on a unit meant for the road only... Lucky I noticed the lights quit working and I investigated right away, or it could have been bad news for Kelly's green Redcat..! Lol 😂 Very excited about going to BRP HQ. Thanks John!! 👍
That Spyder has been rode hard and put away wet. The Ambassador is going to Canada, nice. What’s the deal with doubling down on the ads in vlogs lately? You buying another motorcycle or RC? Good stuff Smoak’s!
My thoughts exactly. Very excited about going to BRP HQ..! Not sure on the ads? I have it set so RUclips auto places ads in the videos, and they've been laying them in there heavily lately... Lol Thanks Gus!! 👍
There is cheap stuff and then there is CHEAP STUFF and it is ALWAYS hidden on electrical issues. That poor Spyder is definitely NOT rolling on asphalt or concrete. Dirt bike should definitely be on that owner’s Christmas list. Lol. Stay safe and you are not alone on the rain 👍🏽😎
Agreed, that could have been bad for Kelly's poor little green machine... That Spyder's a mess for sure..! Home he's got a dirt bike listed. Thanks Cedric!! 👍
Just a quick question, since installing CarPlay on the couple bikes you put it on have you been able to put it on others. I still can’t get it on my new S2S and have been told nobody can get it right now that BRP pulled the update because of issues. Is this true? Thanks

Thanks so much Chris!! 👍👊
LOL I remember that movie. 😂 I have run into bad Y harnesses before as well with my RC planes.
Thanks Doug!! 👍
So cool. Finally coming to Québec. I work in Valcourt, you absolutely have to visit the Bombardier museum.
👍🏻 like always
Thanks Dj!! 👍

Yeah, I'm excited for sure..! A meetup would be great. 👌
Thanks Richard!! 👍
@@TheSmoaksVlogs Great! Just let me know when we can make it happen and we can get in touch beforehand. Cheers Shawn!

Movie: Maximum Overdrive 1986 😁
all you need for Canada is the enhanced WA. D.L. Just got back. No passport needed.
I'll be flying into Canada, so a passport will be required. 😡 It's 3,000 miles from me, so driving there isn't an option...
Thanks Tony!! 👍
You would be surprised how the sand on the pavement wears cars and trucks various underbody parts. You can't get away from this in places.
Oh man yeah..!
Thanks James!! 👍
