Toni Morrison is our greatest national treasure! BELOVED broke my heart. JAZZ did not, but chipped away. Her nonfiction is brilliant too. I'm glad I have just discovered your site--i appreciate your broad and varied reading.❤ 48:12

I'm going to have to try Jazz again. I think I'm making her writing harder than it's supposed to be. I feel intimidated at the thought. Thank you for reviewing it. I love and appreciate your style and joy for books as well as you not feeling like you have to read what the masses are.

I am planning to pick Foster soon. I was a bit neutral because I thought that small things like these was fine, but now I am excited for it :)

I liked your discussion of _The Guest._
_Oliver Twist_ had a lot of tiresome parts for me; _David_ is the next Dickens I want to undertake if ever I do, but that’s not certain. That it held so much joy for you is a testament in its favor.
