@@samalvey8168 Actually no. The AUG is not illegal to get in the US. Just uncommon. Type up Steyr AUG in the search and you'll see every guntuber shooting one. The SAR21 however. I have never seen it be available for the civilian market
This just simply wouldn't happen. Who would be stupid enough to take a police station hostage. And the fact they actually pulled it off in the first place is beyond me. They really expect me to believe that regular run of the mill police officers are that incompetent and SWAT is just this badass police force that does whatever the hell it wants with zero consequences. These guys are doing literally everything they shouldn't be. The moment shots are fired, the mission is failed.
Whomever choreographed that grapple sequence did a great job. And the actors executed it well. I know one is a genuine proffesional martial artist but Shemar Moore does an excellent job. The only thing I would change is in that choke out scenario it's virtually impossible to break a good hand over hand grip with force alone. In a self defense scenario where it's them or your life, you grab a single finger and wrench it til it snaps. Unless they're superhuman or super high they will release that grip.
How do you cast Lateef Crowder a capoeira martial arts action star in this episode as a bad guy and NOT have him do any of his martial arts techniques to make Hondo put up a good fight against him.
They got me all psyched up when they went to the armory, then the whole thing was finished by one guy and a pistol. :(
"Sorry boys, main characters only."
Damn Tyrone Woodley really went on a downwards spiral huh
I wonder if one of the characters was Tyron Woodley, the UFC fighter
It is
Anybody who does that shit is a scumbag.
i didnt expect the guy at 2:17 to be holding a sar21
Interesting choice
I'm more curious about the Steyr AUGs. Those are very hard to get your hands on, and illegal in the US to boot.

@@samalvey8168 they robbed a truck full of them earlier in the episode

Okay but in this case it's just a show and not really need to be realistic or show how things would go in real life, then it should be a reality show
Nice Judo Throw by Hondo at 3:04

Martial "arts" isn't artistic. It's dumb and for losers.
3:06 damn, hondo. You had to be military trained to fight hand to hand combat against a suspect like that. I mean, wasn't he military once?
He was ex-Navy Seal in this drama
@@hkarms7937 ah.
Most of the military only have very Basic hand to hand combat training, because you will never end up there unless something has gone seriously wrong
He was 1st Battalion, 9th Marines in Somalia
@hkarms7937 no, he was a marine.
poor cops
The one where hondo has a fist fight with is a brazilian figther
Fighters are stupid.
I was about to say damn he’s good
Why is the LAPD swat team in the Long Beach city limits?
First

That's what I thought too. Would've been a good fight
