Love this! Ive been waiting for your video because i love how you go over all the merch and prices! This tribute store is so amazingly 👏! Love the ET hat! I actually still have my Ghostbusters toys from when i was a kid, and I have that monster you squeezed and his eye pops out lol.
Can't wait to check it out - looks phenomenal! Thanks for pointing out so many details - it's fun to try to find them myself in person after watching your videos.
There’s one I don’t think you caught. Behind the register they have Jaws BTTF and ET were now playing… Ghostbusters was “coming soon”. Is this an obvious hint towards HHN33 with the incoming Ghostbusters house?
This is amazing! I love it! But I don’t like the Shrek stuff in what’s supposed to be a 80s nostalgia store Also. I want a shirt of the VHS mascot saying “rewind or be fined”
Oh yeah the tribute store was amazing. Favorite part was the arcade since I wasn’t alive during those arcade days and seeing it was amazing. And the Dreamworks land is fine for the kids, and splash pads being a necessity because it’s always summer in Florida with it being 90 degrees most days
Man, I had some mixed feelings when I was in that store last week. First - it’s ALWAYS impressive to see what this team comes up with, how they conceptualize everything, the Easter eggs. Just a chef’s kiss every time. You can walk through there 50 times and find something new you missed…well, maybe not you because you spent 7 hours in there. haha But on the negative side, I wasn’t sure why Shrek was in there because it didn’t really fit into the theme. I would have liked more room dedicated to JAWS or BTTF in that area…perhaps a better photo op than just the cutouts? That’s just me being needy, I suppose. LOL But you nailed it with the merchandise not being that special. Some of the JAWS and BTTF stuff was new and I liked it, but it would be really awesome if these stores could showcase the launch of new merchandise and they could create this artificial buzz around the new designs to get people to bite on it. I walked in with cash in hand ready to buy a new shirt or hat (I got a hat for my cousin), but nothing jumped out at me personally on the first few walkthroughs. But just the fact we keep getting these from the small, dedicated team in the wake of all the budget cuts is more than enough for us fans. I love and appreciate the work that goes into these incredible projects.
Is it just me or are the handles on the coffee cups on upside? May need some o e else to go and confirm...noticed it on both the Jaws and one of the ET in the video store section
FYI: In the 1970s there was an actual chain of arcades you could find in shopping malls called Aladdin's Castle Arcades featuring mostly video games with a few pinball machines.
I'm surprised they made ET part of the store.. I feel like only 80s kids would know that movie (it's like Waterworld.. the attraction is still around, but you rarely or never see it get played on TV.. I'm not sure if the movie is even on streaming? ) I know Back to the future and Jaws get played alot on tv still.. same for ghost buster's just saw the first one on Hulu..
Any idea on when the summer tribute store may close? Trying to plan a trip this summer to catch all of the new stuff, but probably can't make it until the first week of August. Thanks Kevin, love the channel, and the family!!!
The whole Shrek thing just does not fit at all with the rest of this tribute store...I know they are trying to promote their new land...but come on now...
@@KevinHeimbach and yet universal never said it was themed ghostbusters. I went through the store. It’s not ghostbusters. Again it’s Clickbait. You know it I know it. They have ghostbusters at the film vault does that make it a ghostbusters store? No.
Ha! That's my shirt I made. Thanks for the purchase Kevin!!!

You do the best review of the Universal tribute store! Fantastic! Thank you!
Thanks for watching!
this team really does an amazing job every time, bravo once again!
Made it to the tribute store this weekend. It did not disappoint. Got the Jaws cake pop for my kids, they loved it.
Hey Kev, I'm on the video cassette next to you on the right in the Blockbuster Video outfit at the 8:34 mark.
That's amazing:) I'll look out for it next time I'm in there
The xxx section 😂 the summer tribute store goes hard

What was your favorite Easter Egg?
Any Ghostbusters Easter egg is good

Loving the Gerg the Llama Easter Egg!

JP last year was awesome. This is a great follow up.

They need to make tribute store merch or at least a T shirt
Is it just me or are the handles on the coffee cups on upside? May need some o e else to go and confirm...noticed it on both the Jaws and one of the ET in the video store section
kiinda wild they have they labby thing when theyre the one who ousted him...

I feel like it would have been cooler to make the store based on 1 movie
ugh. was hoping for some Twister merch.
Maybe this summer:)
The only th8ng that I dont like is the price of the baked goods, so expensive. But I get it, they're unique.
Will the merch be in other stores once the tribute store is closed ?
yup:)
Any idea on when the summer tribute store may close? Trying to plan a trip this summer to catch all of the new stuff, but probably can't make it until the first week of August. Thanks Kevin, love the channel, and the family!!!
I would say the end of July
5:59: I got darenonves.
Look at the GDG poster closely. Darkenon Lives.
I know 😂 saving it for next video
Does it cost money to go into the store? My family plans on going there in two weeks 😃
Nope it's included with the park ticket:)
Awsome! Thank you!!
Meh…I was hoping to see each room represent a different movie.
The whole Shrek thing just does not fit at all with the rest of this tribute store...I know they are trying to promote their new land...but come on now...
Wow! What click bait. It’s not a ghostbusters tribute store at all. Starving for views? 👎
There's legit ghostbusters in ever room
