Livthecutie 10 funny enough, turkeys if directly translated its turkey chicken in my language, since turkey(the place) is called "Belanda" and chickens are "ayam" and turkey (the animal) is "ayam belanda" This is irrelevant to anything but can you guess what language I speak? And yes I'm a wierdo
I had turkeys, ducks, geese, parrots...all as pets. I don't live in the country anymore so it's only the parrots, but turkeys are hard to draw when you know what they look like and aren't using woobly lines to make them!! THEY CHANGE SIZE DEPENDING ON ANGER LEVELS.
A tip I learned years ago in art class with that paper, you can draw out what you want to etch on a separate sheet of paper (thinner paper is probably the best) and you can lay it over and trace over to make indents onto the black and then scratch off the lines after. Then you can draw/etch without worrying about messing up the drawing. :) We did intricate Egyptian style art with hieroglyphics on ours for that class.
My art teacher used to do this as a start up activity. She would draw some lines or a shape, and ask one of the students to add to it, then another student, and another. The results were really cool. It was a great way to get everyone in an arty mood.
Yah! I love your videos and clicked as fast as possible. You make me smile every day and i binge watch your old videos. Youve made me happy when im down and i love you. Thank you guys xxx
I have a group of wild turkeys that are hanging around the neighborhood, one mama and 7 beautiful babies! Two of them are white and orange! I've seen them 3 times this week and they're lovely to watch.
I made scratchboards by myself when I was in hospital for a few years. I just glued foil onto card and painted it with black paint ☺️☺️☺️ I love using them. One of my favourite mediums.
Never seen this kind of scratch cards. They look so much fun! As a kid I created my own scratch card by doing an under layer with bright coloured wax crayons and adding a layer of Chinese ink on top of it. When the ink has completely dried, you can scratch it away, like with your scratch cards. Have to admit the result sucks compared to your scratch cards. Loved to see you play with it!
adam has gotten so much better at drawing since you guys first started this channel, its so cool to see the improvement he makes in just a week! :D (i love you too steph dont worry :D
I actually work at tiger (or flying tiger Copenhagen as it is actually named) and I get so happy every time you use stuff from the store! Like those scratch boards, I almost bought them for myself
My grandparents live in a very tiny town and there's a farm next to them, the lady leaves feed out for Turkeys in the fall and we get to see about twenty of them at once every few days, as well as many squirrels. I like to observe them so I guess you could say I've studied them haha!
We have wild turkeys where I grew up so yeah I kinda have lol. For thanksgiving I'm driving up from Orlando Florida to Birmingham AL to visit my parents. We have a huge family gathering at my grandpa's house and we all stand around and say what we're thankful for before we have lunch. then everyone goes to sleep lol.
Thanks for responding, I actually had a suggestion too when you do prompts like this or like the dice game you should make a prompt specifically for us here in the audience that way we could do the prompts you guys have or another prompt completely different.
8:33 looked like a stegosaurus! And 9:19 a peacock! 14:00 "HELP I'VE FALLEN AND I CAN'T GET UP!"- Camel 2017, "You need Life Alert!" Life Alert Commercials 17:03 looks like a moose with wings!
We have a flock of wild turkeys that wander our local area. Last counted over 50. The new babies are grey and fluffy and look like flying puffballs! lol I guess it would seem odd to other people but it's normal to go out in the morning and see 50 turkeys crossing through my yard!
I'm American so it's still a while away, but I'm spending Thanksgiving with my family for the first time in a long time. My parents just moved back from out of state. I spent one Thanksgiving with them while they were gone, but it's been 8 years since I've had Thanksgiving with my siblings.
In my home town, someone started feeding the turkeys when they came by, and now they have had generations of turkeys in their yard and neighborhood. Although, sometimes they will venture off into other parts of town. Like, it actually had to be brought up at the city hall what we were going to do with all these turkeys. 😆 So.... Yes I have studied turkeys before. 🦃
Thumbs up for and turkeys! I actually have seen a line of 12 wild turkeys walking across my parents back yard, around Christmas time. Needless to say, they were lucky we aren't hunters lol.
5:03 I see one of those snakes that can like puff their nexk out idk what their called its just because it has that little stub at the top and it has the perfect puffs. Idk thats what I see 😅 12:16 I see a spoopy ghost! 17:09 I see a moose with wings, the little bit at the bottom is a necklace and the swipes at the top are horns
"I have to turn it into something beaut-... Oh, my word." "J- No, it's not." This was one of the funniest videos I've seen, and Adam sounds so matter-of-fact in this video. 😂😂
Same! I'd love to see some sort of event/thingy where peoples submissions are shown in a video (like an art challenge maybe?) bc i don't have the right kinds of social media to see any of it and I've always wondered if people actually draw along to the Doodle Date videos like I sometimes do
Hi doodle date! Just thought you'd like to know that America celebrates Thanksgiving in November ;) And funny story, I didn't find a Turkey in our bushes on Thanksgiving, but I found a friendly chicken! Thank you for the awesome video! #teamsteph ;P Cheers~
American Thanksgiving facts: 1. Thanksgiving is the last Thursday in November. 2. The holiday was created for the natives helping the settlers survive their first start to winter. With the comming together of foods, and breaking bread. 3. Ben Franklin wanted the Turkey to be our national bird.
I actually paused the video to have a go with the 3rd ones and I ended up with completely different ideas, but my I initial thoughts for Steph's at around 17:00 was the same, a dog or something and then I thought maybe eyes instead? But in the end i went with a winged giraffe xD
There are flying frogs! Wallace's flying frogs are tree frogs that can glide from one tree to another by spreading their webbed toes while they jump in order to float - similar to a flying squirrel!
I have studied a turkey
Livthecutie 10 and it have been discovered that turkeys are related to port jackson
WE FOUND ONE GUYS!!
Livthecutie 10 funny enough, turkeys if directly translated its turkey chicken in my language, since turkey(the place) is called "Belanda" and chickens are "ayam" and turkey (the animal) is "ayam belanda"
This is irrelevant to anything but can you guess what language I speak?
And yes I'm a wierdo
is the language you speak Indonesian?? :0
@A SUKERI Are you Indonesian?
Steph's *"Ooh it's fireworks"* made me laugh so hard XD
HAHA it was a wonderful effort!!
*sees Adam's 2nd shape*
Me: that's a lion
Adam: I see a turkey
Sophia Williamson I saw a howling woolf
I saw a porcupine XD
Peacock!
Sophia Williamson I saw a lion too.
Abigail Craig me 2
Adam: *draws bird* “you have to wing it”
BOOYA
thats amazing.
I guess you could say it's a... winged creation
jjems64 I'm going to be honest I chuckled at that 😂
Enchanted Forest of Books gasp a winged creation!
Buff + Onion = Bunion?
Art by Galen named Paul Bunion?
HAHA! that's great
Sadly bunions hurt lol but love this!

Omg I used to go wild with these scratch cards as a kid; maybe I should get them again through this challenge 😇💕
We had too much fun with these LOL
My vote 4 years late is steph. Won me over woth the camel acting and frog scales. Top notch art.
Stephs guesses and thoughts are THE best thing 😂
Isnt she wonderful!
"It's a bird."
Ladies and Gentlemen this has been a PSA.
CASE, CLOSED
Doodle Date I owe this revelation to the Police Turkey.
I have a group of wild turkeys that are hanging around the neighborhood, one mama and 7 beautiful babies! Two of them are white and orange! I've seen them 3 times this week and they're lovely to watch.
I always love seeing what Adam and Steph come up with for their videos and they drawings.
I miss your when you guys on doodle dates. When you go to coffee shops and draw or maybe even a park!
Adam: It’s a Turkey.
Steph: It’s a Hedgehog Dino.
Me: Issa Lion.
Flying frog is actually a company that produces and sells board games. Really good ones too. I got really excited when that was brought up.
These were my automatic thoughts when I saw these within the shapes:
Bird!
Turkey!
Camel!
An African Dancer!
A Water Gun!!
❤️ This was so interactive!
I made scratchboards by myself when I was in hospital for a few years. I just glued foil onto card and painted it with black paint ☺️☺️☺️
I love using them. One of my favourite mediums.
Last year there was a turkey wandering around my neighborhood and she would get around by jumping over fences onto peoples roofs 😂
Ya know- I like to watch your vides while I sit back and draw with you guys.
Your videos are always bizzare but another word for bizarre is creative! Love you guys.
They make these blank scracthboards in big sizes! I'd love to see you guys do a larger one!
This is SUCH a comedic episode! I love it!
Never seen this kind of scratch cards. They look so much fun! Adams challenges are so well thought out
adam has gotten so much better at drawing since you guys first started this channel, its so cool to see the improvement he makes in just a week! :D
(i love you too steph dont worry :D
Adam's nervous laugh after looking at the last shape he had to do was SUCH a mood
I actually work at tiger (or flying tiger Copenhagen as it is actually named) and I get so happy every time you use stuff from the store! Like those scratch boards, I almost bought them for myself
Hi Art Friends!!!
like if you are one of them
I AM AN ART FRIEND!!

i like how you guys are always laughing during your videos! : ) it's obvious that you have fun.
12:16 It looks sooooo much like an alligator’s head!! The two bumps on the top left are the eyes and the bit on the right is the mouth!
Great thing to come home to after a hard day at school!
I have stayed up all night it's 10:31 a.m. and I was about to go to sleep then doodle date uploads guess no sleep for me yet
Love you guys so much! I’m watching wall in school. Thanks for making me happy
For Steph's last one I saw a moose with wings right away!!!!!!!
=D
This sounds so *majestic*
Painting with Tea is very fun and you can get pretty dark color if you uses less water!
"h e l p" - camel 2017
I love scratch boards, I have only done one, but they are quite fun.
I love how their shapes are basically already characters without adding anything X>
Hello from Sweden! Your videos always make me so happy. Thank you a lot. These videos always cheer me up
Thank you so much for watching!
We're so glad we are able to help you with ou videos! :D
The second shape Adam drew for Steph could be a sideview of a man putting on a cape.
Now that would be fancy!!
The one you said with the wings, would look really cool as a moose with wings! :)
Adam: You haven't missed anything imPORTant
2 seconds into the video and STEPH that jumper is amazing ^^
Aww thank you!! ^__^
Doodle Date Sure thing =3=

We have a huge family gathering at my grandpa's house and we all stand around and say what we're thankful for before we have lunch. then everyone goes to sleep lol.
Adam's last doodle had a very cubist feel
We made paper like this in art class in my elementary school. Making the paper was a lot of fun. I remember I scratched an underwater scene on mine.
I love scratch pads. Ive even figured out how to make them. And i saw a cobra before you started on the cute turnup. Sorry for my spelling.
Canada thanksgiving is in October, American thanksgiving is the 4th Thursday of November.
Thanks for the help, Mea!! :D
Thanks for responding, I actually had a suggestion too when you do prompts like this or like the dice game you should make a prompt specifically for us here in the audience that way we could do the prompts you guys have or another prompt completely different.

I vote for Adam, but Steph's turnip was super cute!!

Google definition of a shape -
the external form, contours, or outline of someone or something.
I feel like something as simple as "a continuous line that starts and ends at the same point" would be a better explanation.
Fluffy popcorn you now how precise Google has to be!!
Ikr, google chill 😂
I just love how Adam said to Steph that frogs don't have scales XDDDD (you guys are too adorable)
Mushroom!!!!!!! Steph’s first shape looks like a lil MUSHROOM ! :D
In my home town, someone started feeding the turkeys when they came by, and now they have had generations of turkeys in their yard and neighborhood. Although, sometimes they will venture off into other parts of town. Like, it actually had to be brought up at the city hall what we were going to do with all these turkeys. 😆
So.... Yes I have studied turkeys before. 🦃
I've really gotta stop watching you guys while eating, I almost choked from laughing so hard 😂
Thumbs up for and turkeys! I actually have seen a line of 12 wild turkeys walking across my parents back yard, around Christmas time. Needless to say, they were lucky we aren't hunters lol.
The second Steph drew Adam's first one I yelled, ITS A BIRD, the second time I yelled ITS A LION!!!!
5:03 I see one of those snakes that can like puff their nexk out idk what their called its just because it has that little stub at the top and it has the perfect puffs. Idk thats what I see 😅
12:16 I see a spoopy ghost!

I don't celebrate Halloween, so I instead get super excited for Thanksgiving this time of year. Can't wait for all the yummy food. ^-^
Stephs 2nd drawing looked like it could have been a moose. And Adams witch looked like it could have been a rockstar with a guitar
Omg Steph I have the same jumper as you!!!
.
I'd love to see what it looks like with all of the black scraped off
"I have to turn it into something beaut-... Oh, my word."
"J- No, it's not."
This was one of the funniest videos I've seen, and Adam sounds so matter-of-fact in this video. 😂😂
Can u do some type of videos w everyone's drawings sometimes?? C: I would really appreciate and be glad to see it too
Same! I'd love to see some sort of event/thingy where peoples submissions are shown in a video (like an art challenge maybe?) bc i don't have the right kinds of social media to see any of it and I've always wondered if people actually draw along to the Doodle Date videos like I sometimes do
I've been waiting for you guys to do these!! happy friday, doodle date :)
We're happy to finally be making a video on these! :D

Just thought you'd like to know that America celebrates Thanksgiving in November ;)
And funny story, I didn't find a Turkey in our bushes on Thanksgiving, but I found a friendly chicken!
Thank you for the awesome video!
#teamsteph ;P

Katrina Jann Forman And Canadian Thanksgiving is in October!
15:18 Raindeer with wings!
Adam is a clear winner
Ya!!!! Doing my homework and watching this!!! I love your videos!! I remember doing those!! ❤️💛
Thank you so much!! :D
There are even flying snakes! They can sort of spread their ribs and then glide which sounds kinda creepy but very cool also
It's funny because we do actually study turkeys in American elementary school around thanksgiving time. I've drawn so many turkeys in my childhood.
I have used those scratchy pads.
I wish we could have seen Adam making Paul Jackson
It's a masterpiece
PORT JACKSON SENDS HIS REGARDS!!
Thanksgiving in Canada was last week. I think Monday?
The camel was inspired by Picasso: "Bringing different perspectives togheter." Literally.
I love rainbow scratch books 😀
We love them too! :D
I have such a strange life that I’ve actually seen a camel fall over before
碧Aoi 碧 lol
I hope it was okay!!
From the way it's meant to be seen (spiral up) it looks like a mushroom with its stem bent
Ashley Cantrell that's what I saw!
Same but I thought it was dancing
thats what i saw too!
The happy turnip is secretly...THE HAPPY MUSHROOM 🍄
nekoette Noone I
Adams second shape looks like a very proud hedgehog/lion hybrid with its two front paws on something
Love u guys, cheered me up after school
Aww thank you so much!!
When you hide in the bathroom at work so you can watch the new Doodle Date video 😂😂
American Thanksgiving facts:
1. Thanksgiving is the last Thursday in November.
2. The holiday was created for the natives helping the settlers survive their first start to winter. With the comming together of foods, and breaking bread.
3. Ben Franklin wanted the Turkey to be our national bird.
Hi I really enjoyed this video where did you get the sketchbooks from btw.
I actually paused the video to have a go with the 3rd ones and I ended up with completely different ideas, but my I initial thoughts for Steph's at around 17:00 was the same, a dog or something and then I thought maybe eyes instead? But in the end i went with a winged giraffe xD
(in witchy voice) SASUKEE - 😂 OML YOU GUYS ARE HILARIOUS
Turkeys live in the woods near my house so in the day, they cause a lot of traffic. I see them a lot in my yard and down the street as well.
Omg, I almost choked on my chocolate when Steph did her camel impression. XD
There are flying frogs! Wallace's flying frogs are tree frogs that can glide from one tree to another by spreading their webbed toes while they jump in order to float - similar to a flying squirrel!
For Adams dancing witch, I was thinking the same thing!!
Steph's last one was totally a moose with wings
