Incredible, I only decide to check again as a whole what occur with the Carnivores franchise after a last general check some 3-4 month ago, around the time Far North final version have vbeen released, and what I found directly aside Cordelia new videos ? Another very recently announced Carnivores mod focusing on the Cenozoïc/Ice Age part of the franchise ! Very nice to see that the Cenozoïc/Ice Age lore and side of the franchise is currently under/into more expansion and gave received more attention and love this very recent years. As really, since its initial release, the third game installement and its own sub-universe have always been quite under-used and the under-dog of the franchise. Seeing it having more and more updates on the initial Ice Age game and new stand-alone/conversion mobs expanding and covering more the Cenozoïc/Ice Age region/hemispheres of the planet is really a nice and welcomed thing to witness. So far, aside this third Cenozoïc/Ice Age game, there only 2 games focusing on this area of the planet. While the others games and mobs focus on the Dinosaurs and cie/Mesozoic and Paleozoïc regions of the planet. I hope that, one day, there will be as equally in number mobs on the Cenozoïc/Ice Age area than the Mesozoïc and Paleozoïc area of the planet. Also, pretty good to know that, in addition to present ones, you yourself made and devellop active, with passion, mobs fot the Carnivores franchise ! And I can tell you, you're talented at it ! 👍
Thank you very much 😊 Glad that you like the mod. I planned it in 2016 as personal project and wanted to work on it for a beta release during that year. But, you know, I put it on long hiatus and started to work in other mods. Until I decided to rerun to the development of this Ice Age mod in 2021 and now I am happy to release a Demo of what I have done so far! More Updates & features are coming in the future 😉
This looks too epic for words. Just another amazing mod I need to add to my hype radar. Will there be MEE compatibility for this amazing mod sometime in the future? Or at least any dlc animals planned in the foreseeable future?
Thanks 👍🏻 Yes, there will be a MEE version in the future (including endemic species in each map). Perhaps some dlc could be released for the classic mod version (the one with old engine).
I feel like a Deinoteriy would be an excellent addition with a shaggy coat along the shoulders like a pseudo mane with some shaggy head hairs, with a more recent reconstruction like one of Burian’s art (whichever of the two appeals to you more).
