Carnivores: Legacy is a total conversion mod for Carnivores 2 and a reimagining of Carnivores, taking place in the East Central Sector at the beginning of the Carnivores timeline. In this showcase, i'm hunting all dinosaurs and all hunter deaths are showed too!

♦SYNOPSIS:
In 2190, exoplanet explorer Turan Choks discovered FMM UV-32 during a routine expedition. Despite the planet's rich biosphere, it was declared inhospitable for human colonization due to high volcanic activity and large amounts of carnivorous alien life. The planet was subsequently abandoned and remained uninhabited and largely unexplored.
Despite being suboptimal for colonization, FMM UV-32 gained a reputation for its unusual alien life, much of which bears great resemblance to prehistoric animals from Earth. The "Dinosaur Planet" grew infamous among Earth and her colonies, eventually drawing the attention of entrepreneur Elias Henriksen.
In the 2250s, Elias Henriksen purchased FMM UV-32 and formed the DinoHunt Corporation with the help of investors and a benefactor, Serhiy Vereschagin. Elias avoided attempts to colonize the planet, and instead sought to turn the planet into a great game reserve, enticing hunters with the chance of hunting real dinosaurs. DinoHunt Corporation developed custom technology, purchased weapons in bulk, and surveyed the planet for the best locations and creatures to hunt.
In 2260, the first hunting tour on the Dinosaur Planet opened, becoming a major success among wealthy customers. Despite this success, Vereschagin would encourage Henriksen to push his luck further to expand his company's power, citing the Dinosaur Planet's limitless potential.

I'll be honest, Tormer. I'm getting a little tired of all these amazing mods coming out like Cordelia, Sanctuary and Legacy all focusing on DINOSAURS ONLY
When are the beasts of Carnivores: Ice Age gonna get some love? When will the modder's edition give us pack hunting wolves, a deadly aquatic Basilosaurus, etc?
@@PTtheWildEspeon i think Carnivores Far North will have a new release soon, adding these features. Also i am working with Carnivores: Boreal Isles, my mod for Ice Age which offers prehistoric mammals too!
My fav Dino in Legacy are t-rex,alioramus and euplocephalus

This is definitely the best carnivores mod in history
I FULLY 100% agree. This is the ONLY mod that runs on my laptop, and it has a huge variety of creatures.
I just hope they add animals from the second Carnivores game in a later update as well as maps from the second game. That would be so damn cool.

Triassic definitely holds the top spot for me, but damn this is an excellent mod. Feels like a real proper love letter to the entire history of the franchise
Jurassic Park Hunter Legends is pretty close thought. Depends what you prefer more.
For me it's mandibles but it's a big contest.
@@januszpolak254hunter legends is more action packed hence why I prefer it since ive played almost every jurassic park mod and only played carnivores reloaded and not plus before legacy
Whoever made the kill animation for the carnivorous Moschops did it in such a unique way
I agree! I absolutely love it!! I love how the Moschops finally gets a more aggressive interpretation, instead of just being a defenseless ambient animal.
And I really like how the Moschops, typically herbivorous, eats the hunters body; similar to how cows and deer will kill and eat birds for extra protein.
My only issue with the death animation is it would’ve been neat to see Moschops show head butting behavior, instead of just body slamming the player.
In fact the skulls of more derived herbivorous Dinocephalians bear heavily ossified skulls, downturned rostrums, and robust vertebrae to protect their nervous system for head butting. This was shown with synchrotron scans on a skull that was initially thought to be Moschops capensis, but was later reassigned to Moschonathus whaitsi.
The reasoning why herbivorous dinocephalians head butted was the evolution of more complex social behavior, and the loss of canine teeth as an adaptation to herbivory.
This was in contrast to the more solitary, and carnivorous Anteosaurids; which have large canines to kill prey, and fend off members of their own species.

Trachodon is a creature I’ve wanted in the carnivores games for so long! It seemed like a perfect fit! I’m so glad they have it in this mod!

This mod is amazing. All the animals are cool, giving us the classics and new animals which keeps it balanced and interesting. I love how they added more ambients and life to the tour. And love how we have dangerous ambient animals as well as having the herbivore ambients with new kill animations. All the weapons have cool new reload animations and more bullets which makes hunts longer and more fun. Hopefully they add dinosaur interactions in the future but (and nerf how much most species can tank) but otherwise this mod is really top notch material and the best mod yet!

My favorite mod but there are two more things I would like to see in the future updates
1: An assault rifle or SMG as the most expensive weapon, it makes shooting weak zones easier
2: Dinosaurs interacting with each other

Alright, my big comment with reaction!)
Played the game for several hours. And I will say that I am completely delighted! I'm not afraid to say - it's even BETTER than Carnivores 2. This mod has surpassed the original game itself. Usually in the original I just had fun, but here there is so much variety and interaction, a bunch of DIFFERENT dinosaurs - it's just gorgeous! I downloaded version 1.10 and you know, it's very exciting. In the first game I was attacked by a carnotaurus, and in the 4th game I was walking, I discovered a bridge over the river and walking next to it... A Tyrannosaurus Rex! And I only had a shotgun with me. I didn't expect such an unexpected surprise!)
I didn’t see the attacking Moschipop, but I saw everything, especially plesiosaurs, sea creatures, crocodiles and other themes. While I was walking I found the corpse of a mosasaurus on the beach in the north, which surprised me with my find))
I also can’t help but admire the fact that they made additional equipment and that the settings were prepared just what was needed. It is very convenient and comfortable to hunt for long walks while playing the game on an external drive))
The only thing I would add are more weapons, maps (preferably BIGGER ones so that more dinosaurs are present) and adjust the X-bow sight. I’m used to the fact that the top sight in the original game always hits the target, but here in this mod you have to think logically about how to shoot correctly. It's unusual to shoot into the blind spots of other dinosaurs, but in my opinion it improves the gameplay itself
And oh, in addition to dinosaurs, it would be cool to add additional options for the game. I mean, we have camouflage, radar and so on... What if we add, I don’t know, a special suit for protection from attack or immersion in water (otherwise why is there a hunter’s health scale when we swim?), where with the help used a special harpoon to kill a mosasaurus or creepy scorpions from a dark lake, were surprised by the beauty of the water world, and so on? Or also when we find an abandoned camp, where there were once hunters like us. We approach the box and receive replenishable stocks of weapons in order to continue the hunt.
I know there is a game mod for underwater hunting, BUT! In any mod, no matter Triassic or Far North, these additional equipment do not appear anywhere. The game is old, but based on how fashion has progressed and this Legacy masterpiece, we can only hope that these new items will come!

I wanted to give it a 9 out of 10 due to the lack of equipment options, but I decided to ignore this point, since this game is new to me and I’m having incredible fun.
P.S. I'm looking forward to the author making the same Legacy with the Ice Age part. I love the icy wastelands, the cold harsh world, the wind buzzing in my ears and ancient mammoths wandering through the snowy mountains. And add unusual creatures and sea creatures, impassable dangerous swamps and ice volcanoes

It would be incredible if you made a mod but with zombie dinosaurs and darker and more terrifying settings, I am surprised that after so many mods that I have seen, no one has created something like this.

In the keyboard there should be a button with "pause" word on it. Press that button and the game will stop.

It appears in The Ancient Temple and Shmu-Hadron Pyramids maps.
where can you find the dangerous mochops?
Dangerous Moschops isn't showed on radar. So it can be anywhere (make sure to keep an eye on every Moschops you see).

They spawn like ambients but appear blue on radar
This is built on the modder's edition engine. Theyre trophy animals that spawn randomly on the map.

To install addons, you need to back up your original game. Then make a copy of it and install addons there following the steps put by authors in readme.txt files.

Why did Moschops kill the hunter? And how often does Moschops do it?
Some Moschops are hostile, others are not. So you can't guess which Moschops are dangerous (unless they attack you).

In fact, almost all Carnivores Iceberg shinanegans could be easily resolved definitively thanks to Mods now that I think about that.

To exit area when hunting, type ESC and then type Y to exit and go to menu.
