    Put camber bolt on the bottom instead to get up to 1.5

      And shouldn’t the tab be on the left hand side facing inside the arch? On the bottom?

    👍 One note: To get max neg camber it's easiest when you install them to just align the washer tab and the arrow on the nut to both point toward the car, and then let the alignment shop do the rest. If you do this to both sides, your ride to the alignment shop will be a little easier. If you decide not to get a pro alignment, then save up to buy new tires sooner 😁

    You should definitely invest in some Coilovers. The Tein flex z coils are super good and allow you to slam your car, keep good ride quality and are even able to adjust the dampening, and you can adjust the amount of camber on the front. Just my two cents, but I love you build nonetheless and gl!

    If you still have spring perch-tire clearance, you could get more camber by swapping out the 16mm bolt with the 14mm you removed. As long as you torque it to spec, it shouldn’t slip. Was able to get -2.0 camber.
    Ran with that setup for a year with no issues before finally getting coilovers.

    • @RR-cg2rq
      @RR-cg2rq 2 года назад

      Isnt the top bolt the 16mm one which he removed and the bottom one is the 14mm?

    Get an alignment shop to undone the camber bolt with the weight of the car on it the camber will go inward more. I do it every day with Subarus

    You can't guess camber... It's so precise.

    • @NickGT

      I mean you're given a range between 0 to -1.75 it's not too difficult, especially when you know the back

    Great vid yet again Nick! Given you have such an aggressive wheel/tyre combo though I think you should consider investing in coilovers with camber adjustment. I am able to get -3.6 deg camber in the front of my 86 and this tucks my 255 wide tyres all the way under the fender. I too had whiteline camber bolts which are great value for money but like you said you'll probably only get 1-1.2 degrees tops from an 86/BRZ.

    Can you adjust the camber to any degree within the 1.5 degrees, or do you have to max it out?

    • @NickGT
      @NickGT  3 года назад +1

      You can adjust within and then tighten down the nut on the end to hold it where you adjusted to

      Directions from white line says to use the top hole. I've heard if you use the bottom hole you will get more camber though.

      I think you can get the full 1.5 degrees of camber I guess. With just one you must've been getting 0.75 degrees. Great vids as well man, car looks awesome as well.

    I had a set for my Fiesta ST (Whiteline sent a replacement kit). The nut seized on half way up the bolt. Was it hard to get the nut to tighten all the way? I noticed you only got the nut on so far by hand and didn't show how you tightened it. Is there a trick to it?

    • @NickGT
      @NickGT  3 года назад +1

      There was no trick to getting it tightened all the way on mine, just torqued it down and it was good

      @@NickGT thanks for replying so quickly. Both sets I have been sent now the nut only seems to go on so far.
