I met Jimbo when they played here in Spain about 10 years ago. Such a humble, grounded bloke. He claimed they just were trying to keep the R&R flame alive.
R&R way of life must be tough, though. These guys have spent the last 35 years playing more than 200 hundreds shows a year. They must have invested a substantial amount of money on buying this vehicle, I hope it has been worthy.
Tras un concierto en España hace unos 10 años pude saludar a Jimbo, un tío muy afable y humilde, que decía que "ellos sólo querían mantener la llama del rocanrol viva".
De todos modos, el modo de vida rockero tiene que ser duro, estos tíos llevan 35 años de gira permanente, más de 200 conciertos cada año. Supongo que hayan invertido una cantidad considerable de dinero para comparse ese autocar, espero que le estén sacando provecho.

I would think a good ventilation system in the restroom would solve the "no number two" rule. Must be a pain in the ass (no pun intended) to pull that thing over whenever someone has to take a dump.
Nope. It has to do with the bus pluming, not the air ventilation system. Bus pipes just aren't made for it. I've only filmed a few bands that have had what's called a "grinder" on their bus, which allows them to go #2. Even though, bands avoid it.
@@digitaltourbus didn't know about the plumbing. It seems that The Dave Mathews Band maybe had one of those....based on the story I read several years back. lol Thanks for the response and interesting video. ;)
