      Many thanks John! But, I would much rather have your weather and be able to fly without the constraints of an indoor facility.

    Loved it Michael. Mine arrives tomorrow. Can’t wait to play. I can’t fly it like you, but it’s great to see what she can do in capable hands. Nice job buddy.

    Thanks Michael, what a great indoor flight with the UMX Waco. Instead of thinking outside the box, you really have to think of staying inside the box. I just got mine in last week in the yellow and black colors and really looking forward to getting it out and having some fun. Instead of thinking outside the box, you really have to think of staying inside the box.

      Thank you! Yes, flying in a confined space does keep you on your toes. I done a lot of indoor flying so I am able to plan my maneuvers so I don’t get trapped and end up in the wall or ceiling.

      Thanks Dan! I plan to post a few more videos from that facility over the next few months. It is awesome to be able to fly there when it’s 20 degrees and blowing snow outside.

    Well Mike, you answered my question on how well the UMX Waco flies indoors. It has good presence in the air as well. It seems a bit fast for indoor flight , but the Waco delivers a good flight envelope.

      Thanks Doug! On 2s the WACO is just managable to fly indoors.

    Another outstanding demo, Michael! Superb flying, as always! I've flown the UMX Beast 3D in an indoor spot about that size, but never dared try inverted circuits or rolling circles in there! Did manage a KE circuit, plus some hovering & torque-rolls, though. Looks like she slows down as well as the B3D. Maybe even a bit better! Definitely need one in my hangar! (I missed out on the original.)

    WOW! That sure was a lot of fun to watch! BTW Micheal are you flying both UMX Waco's with your own with recommended stock throws right out of the box or did add your own??😎😎😎😎👍👍👍👍

    • @michaelclinerc3211
      @michaelclinerc3211  9 месяцев назад +1

      I moved the rudder the elevator pushrods to the inner hole of the control surface horn to increase the control throw, otherwise everything is stock.

    Your flying skills are really outstanding, Mike. Even more impressively demonstrated in this very confined area with a plane shredder mounted on the ceiling for additional thrill 😂.
    I have no clue how you can navigate that calm, flying inverted about an inch from the ground! One question though: what’s wrong with the Waco’s motor? It sounds like a plastic mill or if you flew in a sandstorm before - very unhealthy…

    • @michaelclinerc3211
      @michaelclinerc3211  9 месяцев назад

      Thanks Alexander! Fortunately the plane shredder is behind a net so no worries hitting it inadvertently. I think because I was the only one flying at the time and it was so quiet in the building the motor sound is amplified off the walls. It’s much quieter when flown outdoors.

    Can you feel a diferenze between the white and red and the yellow black one in flight? If yes which one do you prefer personally and why? And is the yellow/ black one more stable in the air? I hope you could answer my question. Greetings from Austria 😊

      We are EXTREMELY fortunate to have access to this facility. The hours are limited to 9am to 1pm Monday to Thursday but it is an awesome place to fly… especially when its 20 degrees and blowing snow outside.

    How long would you say it took you to be able to fly like that in such a small space?

    • @michaelclinerc3211
      @michaelclinerc3211  9 месяцев назад +1

      It depends on how competent you are flying outdoors. Flying in a closed in venue can be a little intimidating especially flying something like the WACO. I would recommend starting with an E-flite UMX Night Vapor and work your way up from there.
