Hey! I have a question! Thanks for this amazing tutorial!! How do I animate my own instead of using mixamo!?
You'd have to animate it in blender and there are many tutorials out there on youtube on how to do that. After you animate, you should export it as an .obj file in a new folder and then you can import it into element 3d.

element doesnt come with ae i dont think- element comes with something you have to buy

you have to purchase element as a plugin (or pirate it like some people do)

hey, when i followed all of this and imported the obj in element 3d, later did all those stuff i needed in element 3d and when i pressed space it just stayed frozen as it is at the start, what do i do?
that could be 3 problems:
1) you never set a last frame - 4:14
2) you didn’t export with the animation box ticked - 4:41
3) it could be a problem with your ae :)

probably issues with the boning, make sure you did the steps at 2:11

What you do is u have to drag the rig add on into the py file then click ok or done. Then it comes up.

Where do you find maps for the background
you'd have to find 3d models online and their are websites for it, free and paid.
i dont have ae cause u need to pay 😭

Heya! When I import in AE its cutoff
that could be 3 problems:
1) you never set a last frame - 4:14
2) you didn’t export with the animation box ticked - 4:41
3) it could be a problem with your ae :)
