This is the first riff I'll ever try to do! My goal isn't to get good at it but to learn fingerstyle a little for the first time! I probably won't reach anywhere near 150 bpm but I love this too much to NOT play it.
Nowadays I'm thinking about the cultural barrier between my side and John Fahey, Neil Young. An accoustic guitar is a power tool to make specific chords based on open tunings while it's not suitable when releasing like keyboard harmony (it's possible only through an electric guitar in my case). I feel influences of the Post Rock early millennium from your music. By my side, acid folk harmony is not digestible because I have not stayed in the USA ever before.
This sounds like the small spark of profound joy you feel when you’re driving home after a first date goes really well.
needs to be made into a full song!
Reminds me of the band TTNG!
Beautiful.

Bit of a Emo Side Project vibe
HI Trevor nice riff ! thanks. Also, i have a question, what tuning do you use the most ?
my toxic trait is thinking this is easy until I try it 😂😂😂😊
