Yves Saint Laurent is a classic French design house that produces "Black Opium", which is an iconic fragrance with a prominent coffee note. It's awfully generous of YSL to advertise a new flanker by pairing it with a hungry anglophone actress (although this formula was previously adopted using Dua Lipa in their Libre commercials) seeking an ounce of the fame & fortune brought to Charlize Theron in her "J'adore" commercials by Christian Dior. YSL has found a winning prescription in using actresses too lazy or uncultured to speak French as mute trophies to advance the old capitalist cause. Riveting.
