    From visionary filmmakers James Cameron (AVATAR) and Robert Rodriguez (SIN CITY), comes ALITA: BATTLE ANGEL, an epic adventure of hope and empowerment. When Alita (Rosa Salazar) awakens with no memory of who she is in a future world she does not recognize, she is taken in by Ido (Christoph Waltz), a compassionate doctor who realizes that somewhere in this abandoned cyborg shell is the heart and soul of a young woman with an extraordinary past. As Alita learns to navigate her new life and the treacherous streets of Iron City, Ido tries to shield her from her mysterious history while her street-smart new friend Hugo (Keean Johnson) offers instead to help trigger her memories. But it is only when the deadly and corrupt forces that run the city come after Alita that she discovers a clue to her past - she has unique fighting abilities that those in power will stop at nothing to control. If she can stay out of their grasp, she could be the key to saving her friends, her family and the world she’s grown to love.
    Directed by: Robert Rodriguez

    Oh, my gosh... Not only did James Cameron and Robert Rodriguez capture the emotion, themes and complexity of the Alita manga into the movie, in which the past anime film adaptation have failed, they're also making an impact in the real world by making Alita inspired prostatic limbs for amputees, starting with Tilly. Amazing video.

    I'm really confused about the negative comments from the critics??? Did they ever watched the film???
    Or did they know about the manga comics where it all began??? Because they kept on commenting about the storyline, plot and script well in fact it was just reflected what was in the comics.
    So if there's one thing these "critics" should be criticising, they should bark on the comics and the original anime!
    Actually, the movie has done a great job to enhance what was in the anime. They made this a VERY INSPIRING MOVIE...!!! This movie is for all the fighters in life!!! That despite of your limitations, you can still WIN as long as you FIGHT for it!!!
    And that is the IMPORTANT MESSAGE this movie offer that "critics" missed or dissed... sad.

    Watched it twice already. In 3D. It's only Feb, but this will most certainly make it to my top 10 list for 2019. V few movies make you want a sequel immediately. Empire Strikes, Dark Knight, Infinity War. Alita belongs in that list. Hey Fox, here's hoping Alita's box office will make the rotten critics at RT eat their words, and end up making u guys tons of money. So that we get that sequel.

    • @Seele2015au

      Dele Mala Alita is probably the ultimate amputee where she has little more than her head left. The "intersectionality" crowd would not give her extra score for not having "able-bodied privilege", let alone "white privilege" for being of Peruvian extraction. Accusation still to come, "white-washing" because, like what they did to "Ghost in the Shell", it's unacceptable for anyone but Japanese to tell a Japanese story.

    • @deadstar44
      @deadstar44 5 лет назад +1

      @@Seele2015au You see how those twitter weirdos are total hypocrites. Alita is a female amputee overcoming adversity played by a "woman of color" of peruvian descent (Rosa Salazar). They bash Alita to support a privileged able bodied blonde Valley Girl that has never struggled for anything in her life.
