    My Starlink died after reconnecting it at home after an RV trip. Contacted customer support via texting and after a few texts back and forth in under 2 hours they decided to send me a whole new system because they could not establish contact with my router. Four days later, I have a new system and set up in 30min. All good now. Great customer service!

      Great? It's absolutely awful. Sending you new stuff because their equipment consistently breaks isn't great customer service.
      My kit broke after three days and I exchanged it for another. I had to pay another 120$ for monthly service because they wouldn't credit my account with the service plan I bought. It's awful.

    I hate to sound like that guy but I wouldn't be a bit surprised if the Feds weren't messing with the service on a small scale. Thanks for your hard work making this video this should be a life saver for everyone on Starlink struggle with this terrible scenarios or other issues. I do agree about the 24 hr Hotline for issues and a simple 24/7 ai chat bot for customer assistance.

    I just put mine in service in the last two weeks after moving out to the boonies, a week later my account was reset. Lol So dumb. I just tried to login while watching this and it worked. I did the consumer complaint email the other day, but hadn't heard anything.

    Where is my large pre-paid order of teas? Weeks after email indicating at some point the tea order would be filled. How to talk to someone live? Same Starlink hide behind tech to find out?

    If all these ways fail file a complaint with better business bureau. They will get in contact with you within a day and resolve the problem. It was the only way I could get my system fixed about 8 months ago.

    I was camping this weekend, and used their WiFi. Got home and was watching a show and suddenly my starlink went offline. I got the disconnect/offline from the dish to the router. I checked the dish, unplugged and replugged it, did the same with the router, nothing. I even reset the router. I submitted 2 tickets sent pictures and nothing! They “closed” my first ticket without resolving the issue and I still have no internet. Can you give me some advice?

    Starlink really needs to implement additional security on customer accounts. Hell, even 2FA would be a major improvement. I've had Starlink since beta, for 3 years, and luckily it has been very reliable. However, Spectrum has run fiber in my area with service scheduled to begin by the end of this year or early 2024. If it's reliable I'll be cancelling Starlink.

      Gstar, I agree with you. Any new global satellite system of the scale of all nations needs an unprecedented security system. Not the more than two decades old typical routine inherently flawed. If our channel host is right and he probably is than the age of lazy users and slack standards was obviously needing to immediately end. Starlink didn't do that, so all of a sudden the hammer strikes to follow as nations, terrorist and thieves fight over Starlink will get worse.
      Our host can decide me ignorant if he presumes so, but I foretold it for many years, have said so a long time and the day has come. A very limited regional or weak, slow national improvement in digital abilities from a myriad of corporations not integrated into one all inclusive customer base was corporate mentality. But it in no way accommodates the future of humanity, multiplanet communications or provides safety. I'm sure our channel host will call me out. His rights he thinks superior to mine in RUclips. 😊

      Anyone who has access to fiber shouldn't have Starlink. Starlink is for people living in remote areas with inaccessible internet.

    Hello, why does the internet speed not exceed 1 megabyte in the Star Link device in some governorates in the state of Yemen? In the countryside, the internet speed rises to 100 megabytes most of the time, but inside the city it does not exceed 1 megabyte despite placing the dish in an open area and there are no obstacles and the electricity is pure, painful transformers. I hope Benefit: What are the factors that lead to a decrease in internet speed and what are the solutions in order to increase the internet? Of course, we are linked with the Filipino packages.

    Our StarLink was damaged in a storm and we were without Internet for 48 days. Yep, their customer service needs help.

      Yep, it would have been a lot longer if I hadn’t watched your videos about how to contact StarLink. The first fix modem, then cable and finally a replacement kit that resolved the issue. There were 3 different tickets and all that time waiting for them to respond. It was painful.

    I want only the short story instead of five minutes of repeating content over twenty minutes. You're a typical RUclipsr bloviating and hearing his own voice.
    So, if Starlink is insecure and not able to spot abuse or hackers or domestic fraud or international spies of foreign nations there is one significant question. When will Starlink be able to protect new users and their account data? You're the self proclaimed expert on this subject. What's the method and timeline for safe mass adoption?

      Don’t speak on what you know nothing about. User data was not stollen from SpaceX Starlink’s servers. People made a mistake by using the same password on multiple sites and their password was sold on the dark web. If you don’t want a detailed understanding on the how-to and more importantly the WHY behind topics this channel is not for you. I would recommend you keep swiping TikTok’s and remain entertained and ignorant.

      @@jcristina First off, you like to assume ignorance where others are concerned. Second, if you can't handle a relevant question then you have a lack of tolerance. Third, I have been computer knowledgeable when you were in diapers. Fourth, you apparently aren't able to provide an answer to the question. But I will both say good things and hard things as I see fit. It's called feedback. Get used to it.
      Furthermore, Starlink should have foreseen these problems before hand and the stolen data was apparent automatically which is why I mentioned hacking.

    Now why would I contact customer support? starlink can't even bring download and upload speeds back to reasonable levels consistently in the PNW 20 miles SW of Seattle ... it is pathetic at this point
