PLEASE consider doing more hotel tours under the Good Neighbor Hotels and DisneySprings Hotels at this level. Sooo awesome ESPECIALLY THE SHUTTLING process. I have family that can't walk or stand for long periods and the ins-and-outs on the shuttles help tremendously. Tysm!
I have a family member who can’t walk for a very long time and I would NEVER consider taking her but your comment made me curious. Is that an option in your opinion?
@@MDMuppetBones not really. He's not dependent of mobility devices/not diagnosed as handicap by the dr as in enough to get him a blue tag for his car. Yet extensive walking and standing (more than your typical trip at a mall or grocery store) begins to wear on him. A shuttle can help ease him. To which i've been worried about the queueing wait times. I have a feeling he'll enjoy the StarWars rides the most. Do certain rides have sitting spots in the queue?
@@TheCommonGentry your best bet would be DAS Pass (disability access service) within the parks. My gf has MS which can wipe out her ability to stand and walk for long stretches. If your family member can register and get a DAS before the trip, it operates a lot like lightning lanes and you don’t have to stand in lines as long. There’s not to many sitting spots in those lines but at least with the pass it can make it more bearable
I agree. More reviews of the good neighbors resorts. We all know about Swann and Dolphin but we never really hear much about the others. For the money you save a family can do a 1 week car rental and give themselves all kinds of freedom (meaning not reliant on Disney transportation).
@@jonathanbooker281 thank you so much!
Quincy’s videos are so relaxing to listen to and to watch. She always does an awesome job👍😀
That tells me where I should stay for our next trip. I can be happy with the bland free early dinner & then spend those extra dollars on snacks or desserts at the park. The proximity to Disney Springs is a plus. The last time I tried to drive in there, traffic and parking were terrible.
As I'm watching this, we were able to book this hotel with our vacation package through Disney. The price or even less than an All Start resort stay a night with hot breakfast, and Kick Back dinner/drinks! This worked out great because being booked through Disney we were able to get the 5% back with our Disney Chase card. Very nice if you're doing that kind of thing!
Good to know.... I have a Disney Chase card as well. Thanks for the mention.
@@rudolph3993is it debit or credit?
@@rudolph3993 we just got back from our stay there. The place is top notch! We'll be back for sure!
I thought it was 2% back?
@@jennifersherrick7195 yep, I was wrong. Lol. It’s 2%
I can't believe Disney Resort Hotels don't offer free breakfast for its guests. Especially given the amount you are spending per night to stay at them.
IKR for the price they're charging, no breakfast included is a huge bummer 😕
It's a scam. Disney and the resorts are both scams.
The only thing Disney offers for free is air. Lol
Well these guys have smelly dirty plates in many locations
But then how would you spend $40 per person for breakfast?? They clearly need that revenue
Anywhere we go, we always search first to see if there is a Drury nearby. Not the most luxurious but they are always so clean!!
Same!!
Love Drury Hotels. You can get cheese from the hotdogs area for the baked potatoes. The breakfast is awesome. Fill up before going to the parks. Will save on food bill. Free alcohol helps. The beds are always comfy. The dinner main entree alternates between the Alfredo and something else. Looking forward to using Drury next time we go to Orlando.
You should have checked out the shuttle at closing time to see how that goes.
I LOVE this hotel! I had a king room with terrace and it was a massive balcony area. Also! If it’s your birthday during your stay, go to the 5:30pm kickback and tell one of the bartenders doing the free drinks for a FREE chocolate lava cake with gelato. It is amazing!
Okay. I'm booking this hotel for our upcoming trip. My daughters are older and staying in a themed room isn't a priority and these look roomy, new and clean. I checked the map and it's a 0.6 mile walk to get to the the entrance to the Disney Springs stores & restaurants. I like that they offer the shuttles to the park and we can get the early reservations for Disney restaurants.
Even a tired Quincy's review are the best!
Completely agree!
Love the kickback at Drury. You can mix and match to make something different each night. For example we would put chicken on the salad. Or chili on the hot dogs. When traveling with the kids, it’s a phenomenal deal!
Please do more good neighbor hotel tours! Especially comparing them to the on-property options: amenities (food, pools, entertainment, etc), price, and especially transportation to/from the airport and parks!
We stayed there last month and had a wonderful time! One of the most amazing views, friendly staff, nice room, very decent parking. Highly recommended!
Thank you so much for the review. I appreciate that you actually showed us the entire process of the hotel transportation. Your hotel has been the most thorough of any of the hotel videos that I have seen right down to the comfort of the bed and pillow. Also, I like how real you are! Bravo!
Thnx for another great review! Frequently stay at the Good Neighbor hotels. If anyone was wondering, The shuttle system is similar at most of the hotels. Easy to use. Reservations going to parks are typically to guarantee the time for pickup, aren't always necessary. Returning from the parks busses run every hr, no Reservations needed. You also have the option to make your way to Disney Springs to and from a Disney resort. Hope it helps. Thnx again!
We stayed there acouple of months ago and we loved it. We're already planning on staying there again when we go back next year.
I love Quincy's hotel videos!
All Drury inn offer free breakfast and drinks and kickback. So glad they kept it for disney just booked last minute trip for $120/night.
Just booked for early January 2024! The free breakfast and that free dinner convinced me. Plus it has early entry just like the Disney''s Hotels.
Love a good resort tour with Quincy. Practical info and considers all perspectives
Seems like a fantastic deal to me. Those rooms looked much better than budget Disney rooms, cheaper, and with free food and drinks! With the money saved, you can buy yourself a lot of "Disney magic" in other ways ie special character dining, souvenirs, etc.
Exactly! For my party of 6 id have roughly $3200 left out of my budget for food at parks, souvenirs and then getting to fl and back (gas and hotel). This seems more doable for a family of 6. Maybe the rooms aren't as exciting but my kids will be 3, 12, 14 and 16.
Cute hotel
I’d always be in park at night so kickback wouldn’t help
But good breakfast
Just an fyi, Uber and Lyft have Drury spelled as “Dury” if you are trying to book a ride share. (I used to airport).
This is awesome! I was going back and forth on this hotel and Pop Century. Thanks for the review 😃
Perfect timing! We just stayed at a drury hotel last weekend and were so impressed with the kickback as well.
I LOVE Drury Hotels. Even in New Orleans, with its delicious food, we knew we had "free" food at the hotel so rarely ate dinner out. LOL. Potatoes are the bomb.
Thank you so much for this in depth review! I'll be traveling to the parks this fall and was debating whether to stay on property or off. This seems like an amazing option for a no-kids trip!
Awesome Quincy! I just subscribed finally. Been watching so long and miss your hotel vlogs, in park competition "stuck in" vlogs also. You are shining like the star that you have always been and now you are shining BRIGHTER!!!
Thank you for talking about the transportation. I have wanted to stay at one of these hotels, and this is the only thing holding me back and seeing it laid out, is very helpful!
26:15
I’m so glad you did this video. I was thinking about staying here on our next Disney trip. It’s like you were reading my mind lol.
Well done review and thanks for a completely full one.
Great review!! Yes, please do other Good Neighbor hotels. These rooms are better than Disney’s moderate resort, Caribbean Beach!!! The rooms at Caribbean Beach look like a 1980’s Econo Lodge. Love your videos Quincy!!!!❤
I have wondered about this hotel. Thanks for the video!
For anyone considering staying at the Drury, you covered all the bases and made it very entertaining as well. After seeing this vid, my family and I would most definitely consider staying here.
Loved this review! We are staying our first night in February at Drury before checking into Port Orleans so now I’m super stoked to check it out 😊
I’ve stayed at the Drury Plaza in Chesterfield, MO, when visiting family. The Plaza is their flagship brand, and they are a great St. Louis family. This property kicks it up a notch from that one! So nice.
Love that the circle lights and some of the wall decor include hidden, hidden Mickey's. Great video, Quincy!
I loved your review. I have stayed with family in winterhaven in the past 10-15 years but I have stayed at other Drury properties in the past and thin it's a great hotel chain. Shuttle service is nice but with so many things at disney to see I love exploring, early on when I am there. Your a short walk from Disney Springs....Do it! Then use lake transport to the New Orleans properties catch the Skyway to other properties, and Epcot. From Epcot take the monorail to Magic Kingdom. Yes it can be longer but oh the fun of seeing all the different places and sites.
I love Drury Hotels. The kickback and Breakfast are such a plus. I am planning to stay here in June.
Awesome hotel tour.. I definitely like how you went through transportation. I agree with @TheCommonGentry - "Please consider doing more hotel tours."
Just stayed there..first Time to Disney world.Such a great place ..can see the firework display and shuttle bus to the theme parks 👍👍
I like the non-Disney resort tours to consider the alternative options, especially as a semi-local that lives an hour from Disney. Usually we don't do hotels and just drive in for the day and go home, but for the Halloween party we did 2 nights at the Residence Inn by Marriott Orlando at Flamingo Crossings Town Center (technically just off property, across from the new CP housing, but I think Disney owns the land of the Flamingo Crossings area also?).
It looks kind of like a miniature Grand Floridian on the outside, but was a little over $100 per night when we stayed in September, they had light Disney decorations when we were there like the occasional picture on the wall in the hallways and a giant WDW 50th thing on the floor, had huge free breakfast buffet with make-your-own Mickey Waffles. Not sure if they offer transportation at all, we just drove everywhere since we had our own car.
The Flamingo Crossings area also has quite a few other new hotels and restaurants and a small Target store literally in walking distance.
Thanks Quincy. I have three separate stays booked here. But I will probably end up at swan and dolphin. That’s home. Love food options. And a movie in the room.
What's the Swan&Dolphin?
Just got back from the Drury and loved it! I can’t wait to go back. I brought Tupperware with me and put a ton of the free food in the Tupperware and then saved it for my meals the next day. You can bring into Disney parks as long as the containers aren’t glass! I saved so much money on food!
Great idea!!! Salad and chicken. Score
Very nice review, thanks!
Quincy is so cute and positive lol when she’s like the chicken tastes boiled but great way to get some protein!🙂😭💗so cute lol
I love this hotel chain! I stay At the one in San Antonio at the riverwalk Amazing stay All of the staff was super helpful and friendly, food was good And 3 drinks each night!
Nice tour! I really miss Disneyworld, I used to be a cast member
I just stayed their for a week it’s so nice
Thanks for the video! I would've liked to see more of the arcade but that might just be me. THANKS!
Same. I plan on taking my son in there and would have liked to have seen more of what's inside.
You should totally do a hotel review of Aloft lake Buena Vista. It’s in Orlando and it’s a really clean and nice resort. It’s about 15-10 minutes away from Epcot as well, and it’s a good family hotel. They have a nice lobby with nice people and a bar.
Oh I’m so happy you did this video! I’m staying here in July… can’t wait to watch it later!
Are you planning on using the transportation? If so, will you report back on how it went during that time of year?
@@saibot0001 I might use the transportation but I am more of a ride share person. I will definitely report back if I end up using it. :)
@@genesisfaith143 thanks so much!
I love Drury Hotels. We stay with them as often as we can (where they are available).
I've never stayed in one, but I have heard good things about Drury hotels and inns. Looks like a pretty nice place.
I love Druary Inns I stay at them every time I go to St Louis. They always have a great light dinner and good breakfast. There prices are reasonable and they are always clean and well l cared full.
Nice to see more hotel reviews (guess Disney needs to build more hotels, for reviews). Good neighbor hotels are interesting, maybe re-visit some hotels for updated reviews. Any chance of visiting the Bonnet Creek hotels (non-Disney)?
Many non-Disney hotels add resort fees (Drury did not) so I hope these are considered in the pricing
The free food is nice, how does it compare to Disney's Dining credit promo?
Do the shuttles each go to a theme park, or do theme parks share a shuttle?
When I went to WDW I stayed at the Swan and Dolphin and it did have Disney stuff there like Disney guest services and a gift shop but it’s not an “official Disney hotel” and I had a GREAT time there. But we also got Disney transportation. But don’t sleep on the good neighbors, y’all!
If you are a Disney Visa cardholder, you can sometimes score Value resort rooms for as little as $105!!!
I was considering driving to DW this time which means arrival about 7-8 pm. What about booking at Drury for arrival day and enjoying Disney Springs that evening and the next morning, then transferring to a Deluxe resort the next day? I hate to spend big bucks on arrival day when basically I barely do anything other than sleep. But, I also love arrival at the main resort and settling in so that we "wake up" in the magic. Decisions, decisions! Also, I have watched and enjoyed your videos for months. Thanks for all the tips you've given me!!!!
Quincy is absolutely amazing! I miss her Disney Hotel reviews 🎉
Well done video. Thanks for your views.
When I first saw a luggage rack I thought it was a seat to sit on but I guess it is a seat in a way but for your luggage 😊
Really good vlog. Would you recommend this or the Holiday Inn Orlando-Disney Springs for a one night stay with going to the parks on the day we check out?
Thanks for the room tour this hotel looks nice minus the closet space but microwave come in handy
So this was the Best Western??? They had been adding on for awhile. Great to see the finished product and renaming.
that is the plan. How busy do you think it will be the second week of Jan. Planning to arrive on a Monday and leave friday
Sounds like a great choice for a holiday
Any other place I'd stay at a Drury but I'm about the bubble when I go to WDW. I drive down so do always have a car but I park it and don't get in it again until I leave. I love the Disney transportation options. I do stay at the Dolphin most of the time, I do split stays with the first few nights at a value just to help some with the money.
It's been years since I stayed in a Disney Springs area resort. When we last stayed there it was called the Downtown Disney Resort Area and they had their own shuttle that went to all those area hotels. Did they do away with that bus service? I do recall it used to get packed to the point they would sometimes have two buses running together and you were almost better off walking to Downtown Disney and catching a bus there to one of the theme park resorts near the park you were going to.
Great review! We, Disneylanders, traveled to WDW a few weeks ago and stayed at Drury. It was such a pleasant stay and the staff were the most hospitable crew I’ve ever encountered. I do have one criticism…..after having stayed at a few Disney property hotels in the past, the transportation system at Drury was traumatic!
Why? What happened?
@@AHasNYC You have to schedule the tram to the parks. They go to more than one park. The MK one drops you off way in the back of the TTC. 😢
Oh yes, I saw in the review, you get off at TCC and then have to take the monorail or boat. I was worried it was something worse like bedbugs or vomit. These are my two worst fears 🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️😂
I know you'd have to pay for parking, but for convenience, does it make sense to just drive to the park? Does it get you closer to the parks gates?!
Just booked Drury for March!!
If not for the price being a factor....Grand Floridian is definitely #1 in my heart! We were very blessed to stay there in the spring of 2023 and it was a dream. It was so magical. And the new re-furb is amazing! The new Mary Poppins theme is just gorgeous. We LOVED having the monorail right there. It was absolutely convenient. and it smelled sooooo good! if you can swing it- stay there. You will love it. and I would love to see this channel do an update on the new re-furb rooms.
I have stayed there twice since it opened. Great resort. Beats any Disney value or moderate resort.
Quincy does great hotel reviews
Do you know if Minnie Vans would pick up/drop off to and from here?
Loved the video! Thank you!
Interesting.... this could be a nice budget friendly place for me. I would say All Star is nice and but I worry about the lines on the Skyliner especially the hub. I just recently stayed on property at Swan Hotel and I NEVER thought I'd be the person that would be going back to the hotel mid day. Haha but I appreciate all you do Quincy and all the hotel knowledge! It makes me a great source of Disney info for my friends who are less experienced and or haven't gone before.
All Star resorts don't have access to the Skyliner, you may be thinking about Pop/AoA.
Skyliner is no where near the All Stars
Nice New Hotel❤
Is the hotel room quiet? any a/c or ventilation noise? How is the wall sound proof? Thanks!
Hey, you got a view of the doubletree! ;). Is there anything left at the crossroads across the street? I think the biggest advantage of being outside the bubble (beside the savings) is not being inside the bubble (for those that can’t take Mickey 24/7). ;).
Exelent hotel
Can you walk from this hotel to Disbey Springs? Wondering how far a walk it woild be from the busses at Disney Springs to the hotel.
I love Drury!
You guys should do more WDW area hotels for those who maybe don't want to stay on property. We love the Westgate!
Many times can you schedule for the shuttle in the same day?
Thank you for the review. I'm going to seriously consider this hotel. Even though I would probably prefer a Disney owned Moderate hotel, the cost has gotten ridiculous now.
CON- If you rent a car or drive...Drury charges for parking, plus you then have to also pay for parking at the park. So add $50 per day for parking. WDW hotels do not charge to park and you dont pay for parking at the parks when staying at a WDW resort. So that adds $500 to our 10 night stay.
Does this hotel include free parking at the parks as well like other Disney hotels?
Ironically, the more non-themed the renovations at the Wdw hotels become, they are starting to merge with the springs and other hotels in decor and vibe.
Not ironic, but a good point. I've been leaning from official themed resorts since we'd no longer go with kids.
Great hotel. Just keep in mind, that the "free" items are by NO MEANS free. While you don't pay for them when you order them, you pay for them elsewhere during your stay. Parking is $25 PER DAY which more than pays for the food/drink consumed. Also, early check-in is $50.
Drurry Hotels are the best for your $$. Great Beds. They put out a dinner included in your stay between 5-7, and free breakfast included. They really take care of you at that Chain
Great the Quincy! Love the Bed Science 😆 does anyone know if they'll hold your luggage at the front desk like a bell services?
Great *job*. Autocorrect... 🤣
Yes. They do luggage, Scooterbug delivery/pickup and OwnersLocker pickup/delivery. Full service. Very friendly staff. Btw, front desk, no bell service desk.
Is it an Official Disney World Hotel (which their website says), or a good neighbor hotel, (which is mentioned in the video)? We love Quincy! Thanks!
Can you link magic bands to the hotel?
Are there life vests at the pools? Or lifeguards?
its amazing the way worse other hotels in disney springs haven't changed their resort fee and parking stuff when this place exists.
So the burning question is.... is the Drury hotel where the muffin man stays? Sorry I had to😂😂😂
When you do off property hotels, can you show where park pickup is for going back to the hotel. Can you tell us if they have airport pickup/ drop off if they have shuttle to other places. If they have bus or if it is shuttle to/from parks. Thanks for all your help.
26:00 shuttles to/from the parks is literally in the vid lol
@@caiawren6100 thanks that is for this hotel yes , but I was asking in general if she does more videos. Thanks for letting me know about this video though again.
All Stars are now 200 a night? I remember when caribbean beach was 145 a night. We obviously haven't been to Disney awhile and won't be returning for quite some time.
Please do more reviews of the Springs area hotels and pleeeaaassseee show how well the bus access is and if it’s better or worse than other Disney hotels!
