It’s the reason we are staying there for our Disney trip! Disney doesn’t accommodate well for families of 5( unless it’s family suites which are 3-400 more than the drury) and this became the best option!

Nice hotel! I like how they give free breakfast and dinner. Plus free popcorn, soda and water. Nice that there is NO Resort fee but you do make up for it in the parking if driving there.
Right but most places charge that anyway so it’s still way more affordable than the other hotels

Thank you for the tour and review! I actually stayed here when it was the Best Western so I wanted to return to this hotel for nostalgic reasons(I was here 15 years ago!), I didn't realise they had changed the hotel but it looks amazing. I'll be coming to Orlando in June and plan to book here!

I love watching your video, but I completely forget you're from new york until you say "CAW-FEE" I love it! I stayed year on my FIRST visit to WDW when it was a Best Western. They have made great improvements. Looks good!

I e stayed at Drury hotels all over the US and they are wonderful hotels, the free breakfast and dinners and other perks, definitely help to save money for other things, I always look for Drury when I’m traveling
I’ve never stayed at one before but it’s definitely high on my list!
I will be there Sept 19th thru 24th. I have stayed other Drury hotels in the midwest and loved it. My longest stay was 8 weeks for work.

This looks classy and clean. I’m very picky where I stay and enjoy your reviews. The hotel advertises free breakfast buffet on their site but didn’t see anything about dinner. (not that I’m greedy) lol. I would imagine this draws in a lot of families. Not into noisy resorts loaded with kids.This looks worth seeing!

My sister and I plan on staying here in a couple of years when we visit Orlando. We're not going to Disney World, but do plan to spend a lot of time at Disney Springs. We have stayed at a Drury Plaza before and love it.

I am so glad I found this video. Going to Disney in February. I thought it was an off season time and we would get better deals. I was wrong, The Swan is triple the price in February. I was looking for another hotel that also has the early entry to the Disney parks and breakfast buffet for my husband. Thank you for all the detail info. I can’t wait to see this hotel in person.

Only thing is the shuttle times & having to go to the transportation center instead. A little annoying if you’re on a scooter.
Absolutely. That’s definitely the issue when you’re staying not an actual Disney resort. At least for 3 out of the 4 parks you’re taken to the gate!
Drury’s are nice. I would definitely stay there. Unlike others, I am not into all the theming of the “Disney” hotels since I would personally rather have more bang for my buck than having to have Mickey Mouse all over my room. I’ve stayed at a Holiday Inn years ago across from Disney and had no trouble getting the bus into the park (TT)and then taking the monorail. It worked out great and I was able to get a free breakfast every day in the hotel, which saves a lot of money! So thank you for this review I really appreciate it!🎉

love your preview. Just a couple of things, Prices for the 4 seasons and do the buses to parks carry scooters.
I don’t know the prices it varies on dates and yes it does.
We stay are Drury's every chance we get ... have for years ... I have their pillows at my home I love them so much HOWEVER I just went to purchase replacements and the price has SKYROCKETED so had to find another choice. With children and grandchildren 🥰usually in tow the free breakfasts, snacks and dinners are a tremendous help! I am so excited there is one near Disney. They do offer a rewards program and it is not too hard to earn points for free stays. I loved this review. I will take my folding side table that I purchased for those rooms that don't have a charging spot on both sides of the bed as I do need to have my phone near me. It's just a little folding camping table and works great. Then I can plug into the outlet under the thermostat.

I actually didn’t have a chance, but definitely just plan around the bus schedule and it should be fine!

I stayed years ago at the tower. Best views of Lake Buena Vista. I’m curious to see the room remodels. The room were kinda small.
Everything is redone! I haven’t seen the new rooms at the old tower but they said they were making it bigger!

Well think of it this way, I charge my phone, Magic band, Apple Watch, AirPods, laptop, portable battery, and sometimes other things and I’m just one person. If there are 4 people in the room, you need a lot of outlets.
FYI $25 per day parking fee on top of room fee. Just be sure to budget that in.

Dogs and cats are welcome. Rooms with pets will be charged a daily fee of $40 per room plus tax. Service animals are free of charge. Limit of two pets per room with a combined weight of 80 pounds

Hello, another great video review. This looks like a nice place to stay, I may consider it when I eventually visit Florida again. I'm confused as to why they didn't model the new extension after the original tower, looks a bit odd that way. I'm very impressed with the no resort fee though, quite unheard off for a hotel on property. What is the Drury chain like, and are they part of a larger group like IHG or Hilton? Would you visit again when the old tower reopens, and do you think they'll have more power sockets in the new rooms to give it your seal of approval?
I would love to visit again for the other tower, however the prices have been much higher than when it opened even with a discount. So I’m very disappointed.
Hi! We're going to be staying here in July. Do they have airport transportation? I saw that Orlando has MEARS Connect that does airport pickup and drop off at a lot of WDW resorts, including some off site, but Drury isn't included. We were just going to put one of the hotels nearby as a drop off with MEARS.

Yes you should be able to park for free since it is an official hotel! Maybe double check in case something changed, but that’s been the rule.

Uber or Lyft. Check both and take the cheaper one!

Great question! Unfortunately no. Even though this is an official Disney resort, it’s still a 3rd party hotel. Magic bands will only work at Disney owned resorts.

I'm thinking about changing my hotel reservation from All Stars Movies to the Drury, mainly because i was counting on the Magical Express free transportation service to/from the airport, but that service doesn't exist anymore. So, as the Drury have the buses taking you to disney i was wondering if it's worth the $90 savings plus the free breakfast. One thing that worries me is the time it would take me to reach the Magic Kingdom main gate in each situation (Drury Bus+monorail/boat vs Disney buses).
So, what do you think is the best option for a first time traveler to Disney World who wants to be first in line to enter the parks? Is it worth to change my reservation for a $90 cheaper room and free breakfast?
I don’t want to tell you the wrong thing because it is ultimately up to you. As long as you’re able to make those early buses, then I don’t think you’ll have a problem. Especially because if you are already scheduled for a certain bus, you know that you’re scheduled for that bus versus having to wait on line for buses at all star. You just will have an extra step to go from the transportation and ticket center. The buses are really the only issue because you do have to plan it versus Disney’s constant running buses. It depends on how you want to vacation and how much money you want to spend. I love the All-Stars, but Drury is an incredibly nice hotel, and feels more luxurious plus you get free, breakfast and dinner which is more savings. But the All-Stars is part of the Disney bubble were you are constantly immersed and for magic kingdom you do get taken to the gate. It really just depends on how you want to vacation.
@@MagicalHijinx thank you! I actually have seen several videos about the All Star and for me it's not so magical really. That's why I was considering the Drury because it seem more comfortable and I wouldn't have to walk a lot to get to the bus stop. What you said about waiting in line for the bus is interesting for me. I didn't know you had free dinner at the Drury, until what hour you can go grab dinner at the hotel? 🤔

Hi can you explain the Resort fees please, we are from Australia and this is not a common thing for us, and cant seem to find a straight answer on it. We are looking at here or pop century for our stay
So at certain hotels there is the price that you see when booking and then on top of that they add a resort fee that they add on after booking. Usually around $30-35. But at Drury there’s no fee and if you book a regular Disney Resort like Pop Century there is no resort fee and it’s the price you pay at check out! But the other Disney Springs hotels like Holiday Inn or the Swan and Dolphin at the Disney boardwalk, they have a resort fee.

This is so drab. You know everything about what it is instantly because its just a pre-fab concrete stamped clone of every other low-end hotel chain. They all suck in exactly the same ways. Great for business travelers and that’s about it.
