      @LeniRxse 2 месяца назад +15

      @Danny01474 No dog is born dangerous. It all depends on the upbringing of the owners and how they deal with the dog.
      Some can do that and some can't. like the ones in the video.
      If you don't have what it takes to take proper care of your dog and train it, you should leave it alone because you are not capable of keeping an animal. (It's not an attack, by the way, I just wanted to say it.)

    • @LeniRxse
      @LeniRxse Месяц назад +1

      @@alyssabacunawa5496 Yes, that can happen too. But even if, then that's still not quite the dog's fault. because the animal can't do anything about the tumor or the disorder.
      This behavior would probably still come from the tumor or whatever the dog has.
      and not from the dog itself.
      It also depends on if the dog has pain and just doesn’t want to be touched or anything, etc.

    It boils by blood seeing her getting abused by a family that lacks control. They not only failed as parents they failed teaching their children how to properly treat, raise a dog. it's an unhelpful thing to say: he is an abuser, he's bad and shouldn't have dogs. The difficult option is: communicate and show what is happening. Slowly bring awareness to reading the dogs behavior and his own actions. They felt remorse and they really committed to changing their behaviours, resulting in such a more harmonious setup in the home. Those poor kids and the parents were stressed out of their mind, and who wouldn't be, when they had no fundamentals or controls in place with a very powerful animal in the home. The kids were copying what they saw their parents do, and everyone was in survival mode just trying to defend themselves, which of course meant Dakota had to defend herself too. My biggest issue is that the family recognizes the problem. They recognize the dog getting overstimulated and antsy. They recognize that when the youngest boy get upset at the dog he goes to her muzzle and pinches and pulls at it or one of the toddlers kicks at her. They recognize that they didn't get her proper training or socialization (which is even worse since they have young kids around her). They recognize that the dog is high energy...but punish it for high energy?
    And yet they did nothing to rectify the situation. It's a BLESSING that nothing truly terrible happened.
    I wish she would have recommended rehoming as it feels like there are deeper issues than proper training. It feels like the parents barely watch their own children, let alone interact with each other, and just got the dog hoping it would play with and help manage their children. The last thing they needed was a dog, especially a bull terrier, in this situation.

    I have an 8 month old American bulldog , she’s the biggest dog we’ve had (we had staffys before) and she’s the most powerful. We waited until our kids were all adults before getting her. She goes training weekly and has 3 hours of walking a day with activities at home. We paid for our trainer to come home so as to make sure we were doing things right for when our 4yr old granddaughter visits. You want a dog, then do the work.

    The husband is clearly against the dog being in the home. Rehome the dog. The wife has to come to terms that she can't be everywhere at once with three kids and little support for the household from the husband. A house pet needs just as much attention as any human in the house. The wife seems to want something for herself in a male driven household. Those kids are also already learning the wrong ways to deal with animals and mimic the husband in the way he deals with the dog on the daily. Off camera we will never know the real story and we can only hope the dog is loved in the home when Victoria leaves the family.
