“The Lord of the Vineyard wept” - Jacob 5:41 I love that this shows how much the Lord loves us and His work. I served an LDS Mission in Rome, Italy and the closest joy that I can find now to laboring as a missionary is 1) being with my family 2) temple work 3) continued missionary efforts. This joy is real!! ✨🥹💫
What are surface roots though? I know roots are the covenants and promises that the Lord makes with His children, but why the distinction and why do these surface roots wither away?
All symbols are open to interpretation and have multiple layers and meanings. To me ,it appears that surface roots are putting your trust in “superficial” things like money, relationships, our bodies, sports, etc. When the wind blows these things can be lost and cause us to distress. Being rooted in Christ will keep us happy.
This was a great summary of Jacob 5! Loved it! ❤
