I did the Wonderland Trail the end of September! It was Amazing! Shocked at how well managed it and how many type of mushrooms we saw. I was most stoked to see the mountain from all the angles. Sad that some weather/clouds kept us from seeing some of the best views 😢 like Emerald Ridge and Spray Park.
Thank you so much for this! I plan on doing the JMT next summer, I’ll watching this again when the time gets closer for a refresh of your tips. Luckily I was on the trail around Kearsarge pass this summer for 6 days so I know the elevation (felt so out of shape, even though I know I wasn’t) and storms are NO JOKE. *Also an Oregonian! 😊
good points. I forgot to talk about my med kit. Its very basic - extra small lighter, some bandaids, alcohol prep pads, some stuff to pour into a big wound, emergency blanket, waterproof lighters. then yes, I just bring TP
📌 What are you most stoked for on the Wonderland Trail?

Great vid - gonna try and do a longer ultralight weekend section later in the fall when it gets cooler on the AT. Gonna take away some of these tips
Glad it could help!
