- Rajang announced for Iceborne so of course I had to make a quick video about it. Almost gave up on this one because Arctic Ridge spawns are trash and if the monster limps away (which will happen most of the time) you'll easily lose a minute or more so I only settled for sub 5 for this one even though Striker DBs can get this done much faster.

Well if they think like that then how have they gotten through base world cause underestimating monsters in world is a terrible idea cause yes they have patterns but they still are unpredictable

I'm so glad Rajang is back, now I can play catch ball with it. Instead of being the ball, the new hunters will play as the ball as I receive them in the glove.

The only thing I miss from old MonHun games is how Dash Juice used to work. RIP infinite Stamina
'Mega Dash Juice' might just be an addition to Iceborne, along with the 'Hot Drink'.

My most used sets in MH4U, MHG and MHGU use Dual Blades + Infinite Stamina (through Mycology), so I'm kinda worried, lmao.
@@MrAnsatsuken Yep it's not longer a thing, however I'm pretty sure stamina already depletes slower than in other games, and Dash Juices make it even slower so it's no problem really.
do you just have speed runs of every monster ready for when they get announced or do you do these as soon as they are announced?

@@jasonycw1992 About 20 or 30 minutes worth of tries I think? I remember at least 3 instances where he managed to limp away and the rest was just spawn resetting.
Glad that you broke the tail in your video, it shows World players that Rajang can no longer get into Super Saiyan mode if you break his tail

Whenever I finish watching your videos, I tried to do the same, just that I end up dying instead of the monster :,v , I have not been able to go from the G2 missions, but still I love to see how you play xD

I like that you actually got hit a couple times, as someone who has played thousands of hour of monster hunter throughout the generations of games it's more relatable than a lot of the utterly perfect and ridiculous speed hunts on RUclips. You come across more as an incredibly skilled and experienced hunter than some kind of perfect machine, which gives me something to strive towards versus bewildering completely perfect runs I'll likely never match. I'm pretty good at these games but not as good as you!
Tl;dr I know you're more than good enough for a perfect run, but appreciate you uploaded an extremely good but imperfect run. It motivates me since it's something I might be able to actually match one day.

@@lapsedilationdrive3943 both would be annoying. But it's the thrill of the hunt! Khezu is annoying in the way that he tries to keep you from getting close/paralyzing you and cheaping you. Rajang is just unpredictable and does way too much damage

I recently gotback to mhgu due to rise being announced. Can anybody tell me how canta does striker slingshot instantly?? When I do it I have to let the A attack finish before I get to slingshot.

Wolf's Maw doubles all Dual Blade attacks, so yes. That is big numbers.
In MHGen/XX G-Rank rajang and Yian Garuga those only monster i just dont want hunt ( dual rajang my worst nigthmare )

After hunting rajang for years, his move set becomes so predictable in the previous games. It's like he's locked into a flow chart but i'm sure that won't be the case in iceborne. I'm excited to see what his AI is like

aren't they water/ice? I can see them being useful against a monster that takes decent damage from both elements

You use the action button instead of X + A.
X + A just locks you in Demon's Dance every time.

@Alvis Yes Yes, but Barioth DB has purple sharpness plus 25% raw affinity. If you use crit boost, it should be better

Are you actually hitting the special button every time you do the forward moving spin attack, or is there a button input I'm missing. Because the special is the only way I can figure to do the spin in Striker Style

How many trys does it take for this speedrun?
This is my first MH, just tried this mission yesterday, soloing G-Rank. (and the entire game)
Spent 4 hours carting and run away when Rajang and Barioth team up.
Finally beat this quest in 35min with Valor Insect Glaive.
I now have rajang PTSD.
And yeah, fuck palicoes for this mission, Rajang hyper beam hit me so many times because i don't know who is targeting.

I tried to get a sub 12 or even 10 on the rajang at the ancestral step. It was going well untill savage jho turned up and ruined that! I managed to kill him in 15mins but it would of been a lot quicker if that damn pickle hadnt turned up!
