Truth. People need to be educated about the dangers of hearing damage. It doesn't go back to normal after it's been done. And it's not only their own hearing they'll damage.

So now i know why there's often cars driving around playing crappy pop music up real loud, drowning out the neighbourhood throughout Christchurch.. I get it now.. swapping punchups & gang fights for sound battles.. As a raver who has attended a few non-consented generator parties in my lifetime i don't have any major gripe with sound within reason.. But my biggest gripe with this sound is the terrible quality & mostly the terrible music.. Really its mostly the absolutely horrendous music played through the speakers.. Learn some better music. Oldshool hiphop, some reggae, a huge variety of electronic music from drum & bass to techno to house & disco, some funk, some jazz, some dub & some dubstep.. Play some better music through those loudspeakers & maybe i wont hate them so much..

What you need to understand is playing loud music with sirens attached on the vehicle is a misdemeanour. There is abso - fucking - lutely zero reason for anyone hearing your music besides the driver and anyone in the vehicle. Please educate yourself for the sake of society on this matter. What they’re doing can cause mental health, or hearing related health issues to functioning members of society.

I grew up in Onehunga 312 represent, but unfortunately, left that neighbourhood such a good area though my childhood living in Onehunga. Definitely heard of Noizy boyz as these boys sometimes play their siren on my street, they didn’t try to annoy people it’s the love sounds and music they had. I know the main Noizy boyz leader None aka gumpy as his parents comes to my church eventually I am related to him. I think they haven’t done any siren battle for awhile.
