- Governments and companies in the Asia-Pacific will be able to get access to AI strategies that are personalised to their needs. Technology firm NCS has rolled out a system that assesses how ready organisations are to take up AI securely and provides them solutions to do so. Deputy Prime Minister Heng Swee Keat says these will give public and private organisations the confidence to adopt AI. CNA speaks to Howie Lau, Managing Partner of Corporate Development and Partnerships at NCS. He talks about Singapore's progress when it comes to adopting AI technologies and solutions. He also explains how technology can benefit the lay person on the street.
Ministers should be paid three times the MP allowance; the prime minister should be paid four times that amount.
MPs’ allowance should be 10 times the mean wage of the bottom 20th percentile (based on the assumption that there is a minimum wage in place).

Do away with variable bonuses such as the GDP Bonus and the Performance Bonus which together can come up to as much as 22 months of a minister’s basic salary.
Provide ministers with allowances for expenses incurred while performing their official duties. The claims should be published to ensure transparency and accountability.

those gov officers who is slightly smarter then will find all the leeway to make extra
