I gotta admit I kinda had this romantic idea that they'd let the cute butterflies fly away to green pastures ..
pastures?
Sure, just imagine it, the real fact is very far off ;)
Each tiny silkworm contributes to the creation of soft, shiny silk threads, which are used to weave precious silk fabrics.
i wonder why the worms had to be killed.. Couldn't we have found a way to let the worm survive while extracting the cocoon?
That would require effort, greedy people don't like that, the people making the silk get paid almost nothing compared to the big name brands "using everyone to make them"
Aww, I do not like silk items, but I never knew they had to kill the bugs. We need the butterflies 🦋
bro i can see from miles away that the script was written by chatgpt hahaha
...... and millions of silkworms were scorched and drown to death in order to retrieve the silk ...... not for me, definitely.
I love wearing silk
“The threads undergo a cleaning process to remove impurities, remnants of cocoons and any other unwanted substances…..like caterpillar bodies” I mean, don’t get me wrong, they live a pretty good life up until the cocoon phase, but how the hell do they get the body out of the cocoon? I feel like I may be missing a step here
If you mean how the workers remove the worm inside a cocoon, my guess is that it comes out naturally. A cocoon is basically a worm wrapped with long thread of silk. Unwrapping the silk and the body is automatically revealed.
Human selfishness..............Killing countless worms for a piece of cloth......shame
But you're putting on one
@@Austinemmytube1 There are plenty of materials you can use where the animal/plant don't have to die... Wool & cotton for example
Stop crying
A good thing is that the silk isn't made of human boddies.
Vegetable oil is made from vegetables, Sunflower oil is made from Sunflowers, can't wait for the "How baby oil is made" video...
I just had those Silk worms 🐛 with my DINNER. 🍽️

Those who ate..he could relate with my words and one who HASN'T TASTE YET... should try it someday.
It's delicious and full of nutrients too.

Vegetable oil is made from vegetables, Sunflower oil is made from Sunflowers, can't wait for the "How baby oil is made" video...
I have already watched that one, it was made years ago, and unfortunately no baby's got harmed.
unfortunately YES...
You know that they die after laying their eggs

I hate wearing silky clothes so un comport
🗨️😷
So you kill millions of lil harmless creatures in a horrific way just so someone can wear a piece of clothing. 😢 It's about time silk was banned along with fur products. I've never worn or bought silk products and never will. 🤬
They are bugs for crying out loud.
You can't even afford a real silk product, lol. Now throw away your phone, stop using public transportation or your car, switch off all electricity in your home, especially the AC units, move into the woods, build your own hut and shut up. Jeez. Was für'n dummschwätzender Weltverbesserer und Traumtänzer, lieber Himmel.
And when you sat down and wrote this, you killed billions of innocent bacteria who did nothing wrong to you. Time to ban chairs along with other seating.
Ive never sat down and i never will.
