When I first looked at the new zombie kit I was kinda disappointed by the style of clothing they were all wearing, but seeing Peachy display the conversion potential they have with the arms and heads... my wallet is not prepared
Hahaha! Tbf I can understand the feelings about the clothing, but I’ve come to see that as it’s strength as it doesn’t limit it to a particular period or genre, meaning you can use theses guys in every game system
Oooh, a plastic kit of zombie! Thank you, Wargames Atlantic. Very generic zombies is a great idea, and I like the sculpting. The grasping hands will come in useful for non-zombie minis too. Seeing all the bits laid out in piles reminds me of why I don't enjoy the new monopose gW minis as much as the old multi-part kits. If anyone asks why the clothing is all the same colour, just shudder and say, "Seepage..." 🤢
I recently discovered the magnficience of WGA plastic kits, and this new zombie kit seems as great as the others. Thanks for the review, it's definitely going on my shopping list!
Thanks for the glue explanation! There's a couple of places out there where plastic glue is basically a must (see ankles for Tau battlesuits, which are both thin and supporting a very heavy body) but it's a pretty good reason for this posable guys, especially when they are so well fit that you aren't going to end up having to fix big seams with a filler.
Dude. What a great video and love the paint jobs and the assorted looks you have created with such an awesome looking kit. Missed you at MCM man, we had Droid Racing this time and it went down really well. Maybe next time
Yeah I tried to find you again, but it was somewhat rammed lol, struggled to get out of the Bandai stand 😂😂😂 Well that was mostly because of the cool kits hahaha
I quite like the look of these. Their upright pose suggest that they could run 28 days rage virus style. I imagine they would be great to kitbash with necromunda hive scum. Hive Mortis here I come. Great vid Peachy.
Disturbing zombies Mr Peach, look forward to them spreading fear and terror in your battle reports. Additional extra heads, genius and refreshingly kind and generous.
Always remember playing a game at my local GW.. (well, the one that was easier to get too.. - even a bus driver once asked if anyone knew the way to the town😅).. Playing a game with my space marines.. and my leader fell over and his storm bolter came off., and just carried it on his power sword 😅 - thins was before I started pinning.. Also.. “touching cloth” 😅
More Sharpe will come just been a bit busy with lots of other things, and I’ve a Necromunda and some other battles to plough through before we get to that bastard Hakeswell!
@@PeachyTips looking forward to seeing Servitor Peach clean out the filthy corridors of Hive Secundus in that case. Unless he steps on his own melta mop first.
I'm not an expert Peachy but I think the German helmets in there are WW1 ones not WW2 ones as are the French and British. I'm sure someone who is an expert can correct me. Perhaps because WW1 zombies seem to feel 'better' than WW2 ones from a game point of view. WW2 still comes with a lot of baggage. But I might be being overly serious. I'm always quite surprised no one has done a WW1 Zombie movie (or not one I've seen.) Although I recommend J'Accuse, which is a French film which was originally silent film made in 1919 and then remade on the cusp of WW2 as a sound film. That's got a supernatural element to it at the end, which is quite something. Features real badly wounded French soldiers. (Anyway apologies for waffling on.)
No you are 100% right, I realised my error after I’d finished it, and thought I’d leave it in for engagement reasons, which means lovely folks like yourself can pass on such good info 😍👍 And never apologise for waffling, I love a good waffle
@@PeachyTips The only reason it was on my mind is every November I do Remembrance Reads when I focus mostly on Reading WW1 books so I'd been looking a covers etc for ages so those uniforms were front and centre.
You're right. The little nobble horn type things on the German helmet were used to attach extra armour for the front of the helmet and were air vents. They were removed by the time ww2 came around, although the SS did use the ww1 helmets when they were first formed and during desperate times near the end. Great video here 🍻
uuuuurrrrgggghhhhh ! 40k angle, I'd run them as NPC Death Guard Cultists (index), with Melee only, no OC or Leadership, as, well, they are brainless zombies ! Poorhammer Horde Mode or similar single player rules (eg OG Space Hulk) help here, shoot NPC Zombies in a Space Hulk, yay! :)
Gruesomely good video I really enjoyed it. Is there a technique to snapping off super glued arms and heads. I’ve tried it and just end up with broken arms. Perhaps a video short? Anyway thanks again and happy Halloween.🎃 👻
That’s a smart idea, I tend to use some light weight pliers or tweezers as it helps you get closer to the join, and helps apply a bit of extra pressure too
I’ve found from experience most seem to be very similar, I get mine now from screwfix, as it’s a huge bottle and it comes with a can of accelerant both together in a bundle that retail at £7
I went trick or treating and all I got was this treat of a video. Still happy 😆
The perfect sponsored video with no doubt that you really like the product
Warlord Atlantic make great miniatures. I'll check out this box
Awesome news! Wargames atlantic produces pure gold of plastic kits this year! Can't wait for the damned to come out too

You're ability deliver topics for projects I'm about to start is uncanny....Maybe I have too many projects.

Wargames Atlantic are great, my favourite kits they do are the Cannon Fodder ones, they're very versatile!
They’re really cool, there’s just tons of cross compatible with their sets it’s insane

@@jorgemontero6384 yes good discussion to be had on this. I find the plastic glue can end up smudging details.
You had me at the intro! ❤❤❤😂😂😂
'I'm gonna touch the cloth.' Peachy 2024 😂

Really enjoyed this video, lots of great tips as per usual! After watching this I will definitely be getting this set.

The one pro acryl paint I still use is satin black for base rims

@@PeachyTips Nah, Mikey is just to young to understand sophisticated jokes likes this 😉
nice for extra variety with the heaps of mantic zombies i already have from tournament givveaways
sounds like a great kit, looking forwad to grabbin a box
If youve got a few spare parts from the WA skeletons, then you could add in some skeletal arms or skulls to the zombie horde too 🙂
Very cool and smart, especially if you want a nice 1/2 way stage between the two
might get some to build codex eye of terror plague zombies
Fantastic work Peach! Where did you get the flock for the bases? Looks like 2mm?
Your spot on with size their the tiny ones from gamers grass
OOOH! They're lovely. Can't wait to get my hands on a box of these dead delights. Love the inclusion of those themed heads.
Team drab rim still going strong ✊️

Not a waste of pumpkins. Anyway, can we pleeeeaaase have more Sharpe, especially now his Silver Bayonet has a fresh (?) target???? Awoooooo!!!!

What a great set from WGA, they keep knocking them out of the park. Great vid thank you but have to ask…
…who is Norman Head?
😂😂😂😂 I believe he’s Anthony Heads dad…..so I’m told
