Hey Aavak, there's a way to teleport citizens that are trapped by the environment. You have to go to the character sheet (same as when you were renaming one of them to Kitty Yuri) and click the button showing 3 blue isometric squares towards the botton right of the citizen's stats (mind, body and spirit) and then click on an area where you want to teleport them to.. Hope this helps and keep up the good work, I would definitely like to see this series continue down a long time! ^^
You know, that stairway with the workshops to the sides is a really nice idea, I don't know how to expose it but it gave me an AWESOME idea for a new drawing, it reminds me a lot of the narrow streets we have in a lot of italian cities that have a concentration of medieval-to-15th century buildings, Naples is a very good example of what I'm seeing It's also very dwarven to be perfectly honest, I hope you continue with this idea! Though I'd also like if you could give more importance to the banner and campfire, you could make a simmetrical stairway on the opposite side of those too and maybe make some kind of statue or big building behind them, it's were everything started after all! Just some ideas from an artistic point of view, love the series! Edit after finishing the episode: You could make a big stairway out of that rectangular zone you're excavating in front of the campfire, the stairway could have a tunnel going through it to connect the two zones (if you'll do it symmetrically) with the workshops to the sides
I think making every one has a job causes things to bog out as there is not people doing manual labor, all so making mason to craft stone crates would increase the storage capasity and preservation of food stuffs (if I remember right I havent played for some time to remember the food part.) but building the village to the cliff side is just awsome idea and gives me to try to build similiar one too in the future.
Hi Aavak! It's not that your Stonemason is "broken", you put her back on haul. The priority of tasks has Haul as the "most important", then Build, Mine, and Job.
LOVE this, you actually know how to play this game properly so it's enjoyable to watch, although sometimes it's endearing to see shelab struggle through a game
While I agree that this was fun to watch, several parts had me shaking my head. There's no real reason not to have beds for your earthlings by day 3. Sure, they may be outside, but BEDS! Also, the intelligence stat is Critical for low volume jobs like blacksmith and herbalist.
I feel the pain on travelling to the continent from Scotland. Last time I went to the Netherlands I had a 5 hour train trip down to London just to get a 40 minute flight to Amsterdam X(
It wasn't a good idea to get the weaver so early. It would speed up the mining process if you change the weaver back. You can reinstall all those plants outside your base closer so your archers won't have to walk so far to pick up the vegetables. Also, where are the daily reports? Lastly, I don't think wood cutting will happen without workers.
In my experience the problems in mining always occurs only when mining windows, also at this time you only have 1 miner for efficiency it's best to have 2 or 3.
Umm... for the big digging projects... why not just do the layers with a staircase on the wall end, like the starting stairs. Then, once they have mined that out, you can tell them to dig out the stairs. Not really needed, but avoids the 'I want food but can't get to it' situation. Also, when you pulled the ladder for the attempt at removing the single block... the miner was busy, so you should have left it for a while to see if they ever stood around with nothing to do and still not going after that lone stone. Not that it matters, since you seem to have forgotten about it. Of course, I realize that you are likely so far deep in this that the single block is probably solved or obscured anyway. But I am glad you switched from having an exposed tunnel to mining it down. It would look weird having a thin rock layer unsupported there.
This is just like banished! Wanted to try the game out but the review on steam isn't that favorable. Any game out there has the similar feeling like banished or stonehearth? Please help me out!
MrZestful I believe the best reviewed colony manager on Steam is Rimworld. That being said, I've been looking into this type of game for a long time, and none of them are ideal. I'd say if this game interests you, try it despite the reviews.
Ok so Banished, despite its mediocre reviews is a wonderful game, it’s an older game, but it’s very modable. It’s soundtrack is amazing, it’s got a very nice aesthetic/Art style, and has very good sound design. The gameplay is a bit more Macro than stone-hearth so take that as you will. My main gripe would be that the UI is kinda utilitarian. That’s not to say it’s bad or unusable, but it’s very basic, just the necessities.
Not unless you're watching during the next live stream and Nightbot chooses you, and it happens to choose you while I'm naming a boy. But other than those requirements, sure :)
Little did you know.. Ronia has, in fact, never left. She has always been beside the camp deep within the darkness

@@Aavak doch XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
The music reminds me a lot of the music in LotR and the Hobbit movies. it's super relaxing together with your voice.
It really does sound like the start of "Concerning Hobbits" sometimes.
MrsFeanor: "Wow! I couldn't be happier!!!"
Aavak: "... why?"
I'm glad you played this. Now that I've seen you go through it, I know I will like it.
You're welcome :)

that corridor would look so good with some pillars!

I didn't feel like I was struggling, not sure why you did.
The bunkhouse might be a good place to have a Trader and traveler bedrooms for when they come and visit
I miss this game so much~~~
Right on time, I just finished the first one😁
I think that this game would be fun to play with friends.
Dapper Deep: A facsimile of Catal Huyuk, Aavak-style.

Oh man, you gotta put up some fencing on the cliff face for a railing. Like in the corridors that run along the cliff face
I would move the Masons bedroom into the back and put the crafting stuff in the front
This games music is amazing
I love games like this

think bugs were the reason I stopped playing, although I had no idea a third race got released

Bug Stew?
The title worries me a bit :D
He does experience a few bugs, but: SPOILER
He has a trapper catching bugs by the end!

Castle story is kinda similar and is still receiving updates, unlike Stonehearth.
Castle Story is more an RTS / Tower Defence Hybrid, rather than a colony manager.
