Duramax 3500 6.6 Diesel with Cab Off for Engine Repairs Head Replacement

Cab Removed from Duramax Truck. We replace engines and do #dieselrepair in our shop as well as general @automotiverepair. You have to lift off the cab to replace and engine and do major repair. This video is a follow up to a video about a sucked in #Airfilter The engine needed new heads and gaskets. Check out how many lines and hoses are on this engine. A mechanics nightmare. These things are so loaded with junk it's crazy. Compared to other manufacturers with very little and still beating high emissions we think they can do better. Thanks for watching.

All I see is money! I love pulling cabs for dmax work. It intimidates the rest of the techs in the shop. Quickest I’ve pulled the cab on the lml generation was 1.1 hours. Much easier than laying across the engine bay for hours on end and not being able to easily reach bolts. Especially that rear EGR and turbo pedestal/ upipes
