As a mum of 6,I can relate to the amount of groceries you got, have 6 boys and they eat a lottttt. I'm new to your channel and think you're an amazing mum, I love how your children are helping around the house and with shopping, mine do too and that makes things a little easier, lots of love from the Netherlands X
You are so blessed with all those children and how they help you, your son Evan looks like a real nice and kind boy too! Like to watch you do groceryshopping at the Aldi, we have Aldi here in the Netherlands too. Thank you for sharing this video!
I love how your kids like to help with everything, they don’t argue or complain! You are blessed surely. Lauren and Brooklyn are such helpers. I can never think of the older girls name I think Jenson? I wish my kids were like yours?
You look like you have some great help on your shopping trip, Thank you for taking me along, and the best thing is , it did not cost me a cent.Great deal on flour.I have never seen any one buy that many eggs, Wow that shopping trip wore me out, I think the hardest part is now you have to put it all away, that would be such a chore. Looks like you got some really good deals. One great things is that you are training them to be expert shoppers.I notice you do not buy many potatoes , I can not imagine how many of them you would have to peal for that big of a family.Great video, looking forward to the next one.How you have any energy left after all that to cook is beyond me, great video.
Hi Amy, you have amazed me for a while with how much you accomplish! We have a large family also and some of my fondest memories are shopping and packing the groceries away with our children. With only 6 of them at home now and living a different life style on a farm, finding room for so many groceries can be challenging. You do a great job, thanks for the encouraging videos!
Nice crew there, busy day for shopping, fun shopping with y'all, lots of yummy finds for sure, all the stores nearest us are so far lol if we get spoilables we are done lol or I'd go to more stores , but its hot and a long drive lol same is two hours away Kroger closed we have aldi Walmart dollar general dollar tree and united all about forty five minutes or less away and CVS lol love seeing all the choices at the bigger stores, hope y'all have a great weekend nice haul
I love your channel and your family. i think its wonderful to see how many of your kids help you. I have to admit you make me tired just watching you shop lol Have a great day .
Thank you for your homeschool printouts! I’m using them for my fourth grader and I’m teaching him cursive! I also wanted to tell you as being a frugal mom myself, maybe you could get a air popping popcorn machine? It’s a lot cheaper and you can make double what you would buy the microwavable bags! Just a suggestion! Take care and god bless!
FYI I got an oil popper for popcorn at Walmart for like $20 you put a tablespoon of oil in the popper it has a spinning metal thing and a quarter cup of popping corn and it makes a big huge bowl of popcorn is so much cheaper to get the popping corn for about $2 a kilogram then the microwave popcorn. We still buy a bit of microwave popcorn but usually that's to send to Hubby for work LOL
Yes. We have an air popper that we have used for years. We usually get the 25 lb bag of seeds at Sam's club. My husband has just been enjoying microwave popcorn..so when I said what snacks do you want honey? He requested microwave popcorn :). Thanks for the idea. Help another viewer out :)
I only have two kids, hungry teenagers and you videos help some much. I love the cream of mushroom recipe, I’m gluten free and hadn’t had it such a long time. It’s a favorite of my honey 💕. Thanks God Bless.
Love I love watching grocery haul videos and recipes and cooking videos I'm weird like that my hubby thinks I'm weird. I like everything to do a food and I love how you get some decent prices at each of a different stores. I have a family of four but I tend to shop like I have a family of 10 LOL. I go grocery shopping twice a month with a friend of mine and we have to drop off the groceries halfway as there's no more room lol . The store with a little black shopping carts, I was like give that lady a real shopping cart.
Lol. Too funny! That is fun being able to shop with a friend. Nice girl time. We keep talking about downsizing to an suv but I stop and think... where would all the groceries go?!??!?
Apples don't need to be put in the fridge if you're going to use them up within the month or so they will use with the stay perfectly fine in the fruit bowl on the counter so if you run out of fridge space I always leave the apples out of the fridge until the second week of the month and then I might put them in the fridge they will last a very long time in the fridge though
Great grocery haul ! Will you be doing a food prep/freezer meal cooking video anytime soon ? Just curious , cause I thought I saw a few things in there indicating that they could be part of some ,lol ! Anyway ..... I hope you & your family are not to much effected by the predicted hurricane coming ! Hope you all are safe ..... I would think you would be living in the mountains ! But ,I guess you never know ! Thanks for the video !
You scared the living daylight outta me there at the end! Your children are adorable. When you mentioned the orchard, I thought you had to pick them, silly me.
Your food prices are so good compared to ours. I watch a lot of youtube videos for shopping and cooking on a budget. It seems like the prices north of you are always much higher. Even so I can always learn from what someone else does.
I've had to start buying eggs in single cartons so I can check them all. When you buy the big boxes that you can't check in, do you find many broken eggs? If so, do you still use them if they have a crack in them?
Hey Heather. I think I have only had a broken egg once or twice. I would use them if they weren't too cracked. Hope your doing well. Bracing for storm?
amy maryon wow. I get so many broken ones. I need to come to your walmart LOL Yes ma'am. We're good for the storm. Hope winds aren't too bad. Celebrating my oldest's 10th bday this week. Hope y'all stay safe too :-)
Oh no. New Walmart :). Happy birthday!!! I know the winds are really our only concern with so many trees around?!?!? I mean power outages are not my favorite especially with how hot it has been...oh my goodness we were just down in Greenville yesterday and it was sweltering..... Im needing another lake day before calling it quits :).
I'm also a mom of 6. 4 boys and 2 girls. I'm down to the 3 boys in the house now but the groceries still fly off the shelves. After 28 years I still do big shops and work really hard to get the best deals. Kuddos to you momma for all your hard work. It's not easy. Love your vlogs. Keep up the good work and don't forget, BREATHE!!!
I was just watching another one of your vlogs. Loved it. Do you ever watch Phillips Fambam grocery hauls? They are really good. If you get a break, check them out. I know them and they are a great family.
OK so I have a few questions....I buy for 9 of us and since we live in Florida A LOT of stuff needs to be in the fridge or freezer or it spoils too fast and we only have 1 chest freezer and 2 fridges. Do you have times through the month that you have stuff that is on the verge of going bad and you have to be creative and make something with it? I would a love a few videos like that...for ideas. And can you tell us how much all this cost. I am assuming that is a month...minus having to restock produce, milk and bread possibly. Thank you!
I plan 1200 for the entire month. 200 for household supplies and the rest food. That is enough to get what we need if I have to. If I want to get a pick up I might get few gallons of milk and possibly veges and fruit. We don't usually have to get too creative as we use up most of our things. But If I did I definitely would :)
Love you're channel. I come from a family where my mom was not a food preservation mind set her self. When I was raising 4 kids alone while their father skipped the country to keep from paying $150 a, month total, for child support for 4 kids . I learned how much money you can save and still eat good work a wide variety kid recipes. I've got 6 really good cook books that support good causes. My prized cook books lol I'm 53 And still making everything from scratch even after being an empty nester for 5 years now. I never run out of food and its always good and fresh even after you freeze it due to the prepping style or ferment or what every style of preservationyou use. My daughter loved my kitchen garden this year lots of sauce type herbs also a salsa garden as well as salad garden. I'm getting so many vegetable that I've been able with God's help to bless 4 families from my gardens. Yay God!!!!!! I've also preserved quite a bit to help thru the winter here in southern Kansas. There is nothing like opening a home canned salsa, than the store ones. I usually only cook for me , They call and they will buy the stuff to make it if I teach them how to make it . Lol they love that I cook for them and say they were lucky they had a mom who cooked instead of a bunch of fillers and chemicals they preserve with. Can you give me a recipe from your favorites? I collect them and laminate , and tape them in a note book. Would love one with your signature. I collect I signature autograph style would be great. Let me know if your interested. I do make cute small signs using etching into the wood with my DREMMLE TOOL. I'D love to make one for you using your channel name and maybe an etched shopping cart with cartoonish looking grocery cart full of groceries. If your interested please leet me know. I'd also like to make a video using each person who I get signatures And recipes from and make them with the directions and supplies needed and give those people the credit for their recipe. we all have a different flare when it comes to food. 1 ingredient will change the flavor of the whole dish. I'm a country girl from north west of Little Rock Arkansas . I transplanted to Wichita, south east Kansas 21 years ago. My old way of thinking hasn't left me. Kicking , LOL still kicking and will come back I stronger since my back is now repaired. All winter to do my etched plaques in time for spring. Wow! A lot of food and a lot of eggs. That same box of eggs is over $8.00 at my Walmart!

25 bucks for a bushel of honeycrisp apples? Great deal! Love your videos.

Your Walmart's prices are so much cheaper than mine
Isn't that weird how they are the same store but different prices for various locations?!?! I don't get it.
LaTasha Robinson mine tooo! But then again everything in California is 🙄
Yeah the eggs she got for $3 something are $11 here in Alaska!
Yikes!!
I was just wondering why you dont buy your eggs and toilet paper at Sam Club?
More costly. We bought the pom toilet paper and it did not last our family . Eggs are more As well.
Did your older kids have a hard time cutting back on shopping and cooking, I know I did, grew up in a family of 13 kids.
Not at all
Hi from philly? Question almost everything you bought at Walmart they have at Sam's cheaper at least here why did you have to do 2 stores?
I can't get all of that stuff cheaper at Sam's club :)
Love to watch your videos but these shopping ones makes me dizzy so much bouncing around. Lol I understand it’s hard.
I know... imagine for the person doing it lol.
