Eating family style is the way to go. I think it's more of an Asian culture thing because that's how I grew up. Whenever I go out with my American friends, they always end up ordering their own food, but when I'm out with my Asian friends we just order everything and it all gets shared. Cultures are so different, not just cuisine-wise but food customs as well. Like when I'm out with my American friends, I still ask if they want to try some of my food and they look at me like I'm crazy or something

I can truly say this having a great father growing up, still work with him everyday till this day. My biggest regrets in life is not trying, he never told me he’s disappointed or made it seem like that at all. But as I get older I realize I am practically my dad and I can see things the way he does. So I can see the ways he tried to make me be a better person, I can see what failed, and I see that him never giving up on me Was the single reason I am who I am today. I failed at so many things, but he always gave me a chance. I’m embarrassed of failing now, I do my best in everything.

How many many times do Canadians have to plug themselves separate from “Americans”… or in this case, Toronto. Ok… Ok… you’re from there. You’re not Americans. Thanks

I had a tasting menu at your Dad’s for my birthday 15 years ago, and I still remember how fantastic it was.

5:04 I don't like that mise en place at your table kinda stuff. Gives me cheap vibes. It really differs per country if people like that stuff or not. Culinary culture is so interesting 😂

Moving to Buffalo NY in a few months. Always been a goal to visit Toronto. Any recommendations for ramen spots? I want a good ramen, a great bagel and I'm very fond of just simple sports bars. Beers and some wings/appetizers with the game on.

I find it interesting that a steak is a steak is a steak and a fish is a fish is a fish. The chemical chemistry of the molecular structure has no difference; yet we pass on to the buyers and consumers that there’s a difference in quality. Scientific studies say this just isn’t so. There’s no difference in a $200.00 steak or fish versus a $10.00 piece. It’s all about presentation and execution that dupes our brained into believing anything else. This is why a masterful chef can make a masterpiece with Top Ramen and Chicken meat. 😂

toronTo. Idc what canadians say the T is not silent. Not even french backgrounds/linguistics would make it silent. its just a wierd speech impediment that all canadians choose to have and its annoying. And to top it all off canadians will just say your wrong if u pronounce it correctly.
