    I can’t believe how you cut paper with your cutter that you cut fabric with. Doesn’t that dull your blade??

    Using duck bill scissors makes it much easier to trim close to stitching without cutting the wrong thing.

    With 2 dislocated shoulders which I can work with, and deal with, sadly my once toned arms, have lost their tone and have to be covered at least to the elbow. So that is the sleeve I like with a ballet shoulder to shoulder neckline, no dips or sags in it. Plus I like a certain type of mid weight knit fabric so it skims, and does not hug the body in any way. It's locating exactly the right fabric (fabric weight) which is key and so few knits fit that bill, and of course the right pattern. Fabric-wise, nothing see through, or revealing. Suggestions welcome. The last time I found a T-Shirt which fit the bill and also has (a boyfriend??) hem, longer at the back than the front, it curves up at the side- but I always reverse that. Anyway, I bought five identical black T-shirts in the same size and LOVE them. I need to replace them though, and welcome suggestions. It is the only cut and style I like in T-shirts. No other works.

    I am in two smaller neck lines, lucky me I know how to make them smaller.

    But what about the neckline? It's always the neckline that messes up my attempts at T-shirts. : (

    I love how flat your twin needle seam lays. When I try to use a twin needle, I always get tunneling. What am I doing wrong? Or how are you getting your seams laying flat? Thank you for answering!

      Mehmood Khalid At 5.12 she explains how to use a straight stitch with elastic thread which would replace standard thread thus allowing stretch.

    what is the "stretch thread" you are using and is it in both top and bobbin?

      This thread is from Coats & Clark and will be coming out next month to Joann fabric stores. It is used in the bobbin and the top. It really works great!

    Sooooooo we learned how to adjust the sleeve of a shirt but not how to actually sew a shirt...

    • @carylhalfwassen8555
      @carylhalfwassen8555 5 лет назад

      The objective was to adjust a sleeve, in this case a cap sleeve.

    I feel like one of the Flinstones. Ghetto tailor clapper is a flat rock and no, I wasn't raised during the depression. I'm just pathetic.

  • @carolsimoneau370

    Dude, fold that paper. Don't cut. That's kind of a waste if you want to make a regular sleeve. Now you need to print or buy new.

  • @eliz0891
