"It's hard to tell yoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo" gives me chills every fucking time, what an amazing band!
Always a great band but the latest album and live performances have really taken things to another level. Warpaint are world-class now.
They've always been an amazing live band
Yes, they are world-class indeed. Their amazing talent and pure quality/sincerity in delivery is a pure joy to say the very least. They clearly love it too, they're greatness... ;-)
@@Christopher_175 I think so too except I feel like it also depends on their audience. I've seen live concerts where they are amazing and engage with the audience (usually these are in the US and Europe). However, I went to go see them live in Mexico City. They hardly engaged with the audience, and couldn't wait to get out of there once it was over. They did not seem to enjoy their time there at all. And the audience was great, had awesome energy and not once was anyone rude. So I do not understand why Warpaint had that awful attitude towards the audience. If they don't like Mexico, Mexicans or LatinAmerica, why come here? Why treat the audience like that? I felt really dissapointed to be honest.
@@msblackpinkie6866 it sucks that you didn't get to see them at their best. I don't think they have any particular issue with Mexico or anything in that part of the world and seeing live performances from Brazil in the past, it they looked like they had fun there
Anyone can have a bad day, It could have been illness, tiredness, a family issue or something.
I hope you get to see them live again and have the best warpaint experience possible
Emily's vocals are a lot stronger now. She's put in a lot of work
Or had a lot of rest
Shes always had great vocals!
Emily appears really relaxed, flowing, genuinely laying it all out there. Theresa kicking in nicely as well. They're all such high-quality., singing/playing from their souls....
plz dont forget the ppl behind the sound. they live and breathe and passionately pour their hearts into the music too
Been an avid warpaint listener for 14 years, and Emily's progress is huge ! This is so impressive.
I love how each member can be seen to physically become her part. Theresa so focused on her chiming guitar. Stella's posture so expressive over her drums. Jenny's energy and rhythm. Emily's hands and voice. The rapport and respect between them all. They are really vibing with each other, like a "well-oiled machine." They are in the zone, like a group meditation. Amazing song, incredible performance!
We just heard them play The Summit in Denver last night. Wow, what a show! Like an aged Bourbon they just get better every year.
Emily's vocals are flawless. Sounding so good
Peak Emily! Like a polished diamond!
Yeah. Getting major Beth Gibbons vibe on this one.
Warpaint have always been so massively underrated and under-appreciated. I saw them live 5 days ago in a crowd of like 500 people and it wasn't sold out (in a major city). My 4th time seeing them live, I just don't get how they aren't bigger. Yeah the music is pretty soft and chill sure, but so is like fuckin Bon Iver and that band plays arenas.
I love your username (especially if we're referring to the Thurston pre-2011). And your post is definitely also something that's crossed my mind once or twice.
Philly?
💎
Some good points here. Say them a few days ago in Phoenix... same situation. Fantastic show, but half empty venue. I think maybe they aren't bigger because their music is pretty subtle and chill, and also they don't have many 'hooks' in their songs. Just a thought.
Superior to the album version, which is rare. Guitars stand out nicely, and the voice is amazing.
Definitive version of this now.
+1
This song is breathtaking. Brings me to tears. Beautiful.
She always sounds like an angel. This song is my favorite. Not my favorite album but still some strong songs. Especially this one gives me goosebumps
gosh, this thing is on top 10 songs of warpaint, with no doubt.
driving bass ftw!
love hearing how much this song evolved into this masterpiece. emily's vocals have never been better. warpaint is at the top of the game!
excellent sound and recording! thanks for bringing this to the world :)
masterpiece
Ooh my goshhhhh ...such a beauty....this kind of music brings me to inside of me.... deeply.....
This is a piece of gold, such a beautiful song ... a song that makes you stop and stare, melancholy grips you, and carries you away ....
Follow Warpaint many years and they get better and better, real class!!
Possibly the most beautifully heartbreaking song ever made.
Heard Emily play this one solo in 2019 and was pleasantly surprised when it popped up on the record. Ended up being my fav on Radiate Like This.
Top shelf Em vocals 🌟
Best Song on the album ❤️
emily's voice is pure magic 💘
Wonderful voice, Emily
Sounds like The Sundays covering Mad World in a twisted and beautiful way :)
Sublime song and performance and beautifully unobtrusively photographed too.
Holy smokes! Amazing!
I love them. They have such an 80s vibe
I’ve listened to this song on repeat for 1 week now and just saw them live in Athens…..my soul is steal left on that festival field ❤️🎶
Steal=still….but maybe also stolen
Criminally underrated still, but hopefully not for much longer. I love the new album ❤
This song gives me Love is to Die vibes and I'm obsessed with it
This song is the credits to my life.
Drums are so tight
warpaint is awesome. they should get more attention.
This song blows my mind, I can't stop.
Beautiful…Beautiful…Beautiful…
So she sings it, then you shiver
Saw them last night in Seattle and they are just plain excellent. This song in particular is a standout as so poignant.
I just discovered this band….
Love the melody and vibe of this song.
Amazed with the entire band
Guitar’s single notes are lovely.
Bass and drums are Simply tight, exquisite and flawless.
The voice is out of this world .
Great performance!!!!!
Crying. This song is beyond borders (like love capacity not physical restraint lol) and I'm obsessed! I LOVE YOU WARPAINT
Bass is simple but tight and comfy
This version is better than the Album. Great Song
This bands incredible and has been for a long long time. These vocals are something else. Amazing.
Just recently became a Warpaint fan. I’d heard of them years ago but I was on a different tangent musically.
I saw the guitar player do a “rig rundown” for Premier Guitar and caught up with them again. It’s like Christmas discovering all their older stuff and now this show.
I got into them when Stella played on a Kurt Vile video.
Stunning.
Well I just don't know where to start
Will this heart of mine always be so restless?
I made mistakes when I was young
That hold me back
I wanna shake off all the rules
I know that I made them
I know that I put them on you
It's hard to tell you now that what I want isn't what I wanted
I have to tell you now that what I want isn't what I wanted
It's hard to tell you
It's hard to tell you
When will we feel our innocence
From all these past transgressions?
Don't wanna face where you come from
It's your face that keeps me hanging on
Didn't give up but I gave in
You thought you could get away
Running away from it
That's such a shitty decision
It's hard to tell you now that what I want isn't what I wanted
I have to tell you now that what I want isn't what I wanted
It's hard to tell you
It's hard to tell you
Under a falling sky a billion stars align
I'm feeling another way, it's pulling me into light, I
Wanted to give you all I got but I think I did
I think I gave all I can, hurts but I cannot change it
My friend, my friend, my friend
Until the end, the end, the end
It's hard to tell you now that what I want isn't what I wanted
I have to tell you now that what I want isn't what I wanted
It's hard to tell you
It's hard to tell you
It's hard to tell you
It's hard to tell you
And I have to tell you
Oh, it's time to recall
Just seen them for the first time last night, opening for Duran Duran at the Hollywood Bowl. Amazing.
This song is godsend and healing wombs all over the planet; one of the best songs my healing was needing. Love you girls ✨
This is the best thing I have ever heard, the melody is perfect. I love Warpaint like family.
What a vocal performance. Flawless.
Every album they release gets better and better ❤
When this live series came out, I was so excited to see if they were going to perform HTTY live. And the moment I saw the setlist, I skipped right to this track. I swear, the moment Emily sings, tears were falling down my face. She is sounding exceptionally brilliant, and her tone is SPOT ON in this live recording. And Jenny's bass lines.. And Stella's grooves, and T's riffs... UGH. I love them all so so so so much, I can't explain :(
Emily’s eyes reflect a deep story with this song. Very emotional.
This song is simply beautiful. Watching them live really is a gift.
Fav 💓
My lord, that guitar work is gorgeous.
Perfection!!!!!
This song is definitely my fav on the new album.
favorite from this session, also one of my favorites on the album. it was so beautiful to see live a couple of weeks ago too. Emily has such a presence on stage and her voice is sounding better than ever.
Sooooo good. I be in the hood of south Memphis blasting this
Just an absolute delight. I've always loved this band and "Radiate Like This" brings emotional landscape to its climax. Emily's voice here is as clear as crystal, sharp and perfectly on tune. There are only two bands in this world that has the ability to soothe my bad mood: Warpaint and Khruangbin
This song is perfect!
Well, wow! what a wonderful watch.✌️
So masterfully captured. What a beautiful performance.
I love this song.
Beautiful!!!
Love this
I miss T’s ‘66 mustang. The jag sounds great but the mustang had a special sound. As always the rhythm section is on point.
The whole thing is on point her guitar is perfect.
Gran preformance. Felicitaciones.
my gosh what kind o this music is so beautiful
Sublime
I am not a vocal expert but wow does Emily have great pronunciation - those lyrics are crystal clear
so beautiful

I love Warpaint so much I really don't know how to express it.
Yaaasss queens yaaaasss they all have evolved so much. So proud of them. I have loved all their music and I am so happy they continue making more.
This version is FAR SUPERIOR to the album version. I saw them live last week and was very impressed. Love to see a band evolve in their sound and ability.
Giant voice !!
