your so right about that i was at sea world in Australia Marine Park gold Coast in 1983 I was 10 years old back then I couldn't understand why the killer whale's were at sea world and not in the usual place out there in there own playground instead of being kept in a small tank of water

I got worried there for a second until the adults surfaced. The juveniles usually don't deliberately stray that far away from the pod. They typically are seen physically touching an adult Orca and will swims in a way, so an adult is between them and the boat or something that is out of place in the water. You are so lucky they got that close with the adults as far back as they were. They are so cute with their little awkward breaches :D

I agree but, a lot of new Zealand's orcas have been helped by people like Ingrid Visser so maybe it's one of them

At least 19 orcas have been released back to the wild after being captured! (Look it up) also Keiko was supposed to die that's why they were able to convince the owners to rehabilitate and release him! So in the end Keiko lived longer than he would've if they had kept him in caltivity!

Baby orca: Pleassseee can we go look mom!
    Dad orca: Not a chance.
Mom orca: sure, it will be a chance for some lessons on life.
At the end it was like baby orca and the adult were saying either "thank you" or "goodbye" in their own way.

That babies father isnt in the same pod. Father orcas are always from a different pod to prevent inbreeding. Once he mates with the mother whale, he returns to his own family.

Yes, absolutely beautiful Orcas. One of the comments mentioned that they are God’s creation. That is so true.
And, as every artist has a name, the one who created these creatures for our enjoyment has the name
Jehovah. The Hebrew definition of that name means “He causes to become”. Isn’t that appropriate? The
Earth is filled with His productions. (Psalms 104:24)

Whales including orcas and dolphins evolved from land mammals. They still have vestigial hip bones and are closely related to cows based on DNA and fossil evidence. Weird way for "god" to create something but whatever works I guess. Orcas are awesome regardless
