  • 2021 Cadillac CT4-V review by The Straight Pipes. The Cadillac CT4-V is pumping out 325hp and 380 lb-ft tq from a 2.7L Turbo 4 cylinder. At $57,380 CAD, would you take it over a Mercedes-AMG CLA35, A35 sedan, BMW M235i, Audi S3?

@@bonz1481 Ye same, I tried to test drive way 2nd hand but didn't work out lol. Mate amazing ay..the steering is so instant compared to my scirocco R it's crazy. Driving around town is nice, lots of attention - could daily it in normal modes and fuel is no drama, can take a second or two to pick up and go in normal drive mode. R Mode is godlike. Instant power as soon as you tape the throttle. 6 piston brakes as well so huge ability to stop.
The Interior is crazy, the Alcantara is something I've never had or seen before, feels amazing.
      Negative:
Paint is very poorly applied in the sense it's thin, within a week I had 2 paint chips on the top of my bonnet/hood and it looks like its one or two coats.
Wheels are massive, so rocks catch up in the calipers (minor) and the tires are VERY expensive.
Back seats feel a bit cheap, but who cares about the back seats!

Got one 2 months ago , so far I have put 2000km on it and loving every bit of it, came from 9 Mercedes (5 AMGs), 4 BMWs, and 2 Porsches, first time owing an American car and I feel I have missed out for so many years, interior is much more premium than the BMW 2GC and any Mercedes A class platform products, and probably the best sounding of all considering the competition are all 4 cylinder (had a GLA45 before and it sounds awful imo). I am really surprise to see so many negative comments about this car and seems almost all of them came from people who never actually owned one or even drove them at all to compare, especially about the interior, the car drives and feels much more expensive and premium than anything else in its class, but most people nowadays seems to be brand bias anyways and the brand image is everything, l am glad that you guys did a great review of the car!

My first thought on this car is I can't see why you'd pay that price for any 4 cylinder. Now that the Civic type R is out, I'm looking at the CT4-V realizing it's only a few thousand more than a Honda civic, but instead of fwd its rwd with an awd option, and instead of a Honda it's a Cadillac... and now it's making a lot more sense 😂 It's just too bad you can't get the manual without paying for the blackwing!

Really enjoying mine. Some might laugh and shake their heads in disbelief. Traded in a 19 Camaro 2SS 1LE 6spd manual for this 2021 ct4v auto. It is fabulous, plush and smooth. I liked the Camaro and it was awesome but was much more demanding and engagement needed. Rougher ride with 1LE but man could it handle any curve. Worried about bumper blocks & potholes. Banging gears is fun but I could see trouble in my future. The ct4v is fun comfortable and relaxing.
