why didn't they put some humidity packs inside it for shipping knowing it would be in a different climate?
Its really amazing how you reacted when you saw the guitar sir. I mean, most rude people would’ve reacted the other way round, despite the risk they took. But ur simply really kind and grateful to accept the flaws of the guitar despite the cracks. Its like acceptin ur child to be who he/she is regardless of his/her flaws. More power to Alama Guitars and to you sir!!!

Is the hardcase made by Alama also?
Thats how mine is now. Mine came the last week of oct then by winter here in the US its all covered with cracks. Pretty nice looking cracks.. the wood they use is meant for the Philippines climate. i think its not dried and seasoned like how factories do it for North America or EU use. if you can, use humidipack right away before the top start to sink in and cause more problem with the playability.
