Frank, The female silver terminals that I extracted from the black plastic plug were loose in the center and not squeezing tight enough on the male pins that are inside of the fuel solenoid. I used a very small screwdriver to push in the sides of the terminals towards the center. This made them fit tighter on the male pins inside of the solenoid and fixed the problem. Hope this helps.... Rob

Thank You for the reply Rob. I went ahead and order a new valve, I will be installing it Monday. When I unplugged mine the engine revs to 2100 hundred Wich that's where it needs to be. Hopefully is just the valve.

What I do on my deere plugs like this is take needle nose plecktrons and twist the male tabs (here they are inside the solenoid valve) just enough that I can still plug it back in - BUT it now makes positive contact.
I have done this many times.

I like that idea. So the metal terminals will drag upon each other when plugged in. Could be used on many different plugs. Thanks for posting. Rob.....
