when you let a team cook for long enough they start producing results, apex has a weird problem of constantly shifting players around. they need to let players develop a proper understanding of each other. dz and tsm for example no glazing just fact that because they have been together for so long they have a deeper trust with each other than a team who has been together for less than a year lol

raven has always been right when he lets em know, thats what i like about him as a coach.
@@candi_appellook at other esports like Halo (only cause I tune in enough) but most top teams in halo haven't had many roster changes till recently and they were like major team swaps. Otherwise the teams that swap the lot of people in Halo were the teams that were not performing the best. Some teams did have major swaps but that is like one of the only roster changes they really had in the game since it came back. Halo is not Apex by any means but still esport is an esport. You got it with teams fail you got to let teams build you got to let the chemistry build between the players it's the only way they will trust each other and rely. If none of those things are able to happen then something must change. And I feel bad for enemy cuz he's kind of getting the same treatment guild got from sweet last split. Which we all know how that went for gilds mental and skill during that time.

I doubt he would coach anyways, he has made enough money that he wouldn’t have too, only if he wanted too, so i think he would choose what team he would coach i see where your coming from tho.

I don’t care what the problem ever is, you cannot ever quit on your team when you’re supposed to be the IGL/entry fragger. Quite literally the one thing you don’t ever do.
He’s just letting emotions get to him becuase of built up frustration. It’s not even this specific thing most likely, it’s just him being mad they aren’t doing better. Hal did this once during TSM’s lowest low as well, but with Dezign this stuff is constant and he’s literally known for these issues. I say this as someone that really likes watching him and thinks he’s a great player.

@@RuMaow Yeah, he isn't this malicious manchild people love to paint him as. He's extremely passionate and it is frustrating when you go along with teammates' suggestions (like unironically playing Catalyst) and when you want to give something a try you get shut down instantly.
Just results in a release of the built up frustration from sucking ass the past few weeks. He knows they're a better team than this.

For how long they have been playing scrims and everything, comp selection shouldn't really be a issue at this stage, them consistently changing comp leaves no room to actually improve using a comp but it seems they want to change to a comp and immediately play good and dominate every time
Idk this season is different. So many possibilities with all the perks. Scrims in where you try new comps.

That's wild. It's scrims, you don't quit on your team like that when you're supposed to be the leader. The team needs to trust the leader enough that they fall in and follow his call, even if it ends up being the wrong one, when it comes down to it. If they can't trust him to even show up, there's no shot they're getting anywhere.

Hal giving some really insightful analysis there. End of the day you’re a team and you have to respect each other, and sometimes that means doing something you don’t necessarily agree with. Worst case scenario you show them that what they suggested is wrong and you ultimately get to the correct solution, best case he is right and you’re a better team because of it. But blowing him off just exacerbates the situation and ruins team morale
Why doesn’t design want to play caustic or Valk but wants horizon so bad ? Sounds like a crutch to me and his unwillingness to be able to conform adapt as pro is kinda sad. There is always a team that falls to do so when there is a meta shift.
Because for some reason he thinks that Horizon will be able to keep pace with Bloodhound in a fight. Which Hal is correctly identifying that it's literally impossible unless you're going to play Octane/Rev with Hound. You can't set the pace of the fight with a character ability that makes you move 30% faster and expect other characters that don't have movement abilities to keep up with you.

He gave a reason for wanting to pick Horizon. That reason being that he feels like they are loosing there team fights
Horizon is a character that is known for being good at team fights, hence him wanting to try her out
His reasoning is perfectly valid. And its understandable for him to be frustrated that his team isn't willing to give his idea's a chance

Timmy has almost zero experience in pro play, but us otherwise possibly the best player on the freaking planet. It should ve anticipated that odd studd stuff will happen and be used as a teaching moment.

Timmy is very mechanically gifted and in conversation for best player mechanically, I'll give you that but there's a few players in that conversation (Ezflashkid, Zer0, Yukaf, obly, funfps... There are some monsters mechanically in Proleague). Also to the rest of your statement; Timmy has three challenger circuits and now nearly a whole Proleague Split and a LAN under his belt. There are less experienced players in Proleague who are doing better than DSG. This is a team issue with Enemy and Dezign not getting along (Enemy finding Dezign belligerent and rude and thinking Dezign is out of touch with the meta, and Dezign thinking Enemy is careless and stupid, and thinking the team isn't figuring out the meta so just play an off meta comp that plays to fast 3 v 3s), not "Timmy is still learning" issue. Timmy and Bronzey are probably the only parts of that team willing to work with the team, the issue is Dezign is making it way easier to side with Enemy by just leaving mid scrims.

I think Dezign's mental is what's holding them back, not to shame on the dude either everyone has their demons. I think Timmy/enemy should have just tried his comp idea and also be more precise with their communication towards it instead of saying just "no we're not doing that" But with Dezign's mental that never feels good enough to say to someone like that sometimes you just gotta be straight up and not let these type of people have their way even if it seems like the wrong time to do. If Dezign takes a moment to breathe and just lays it all out and his POV instead of just alt f4 quitting everytime it gets this serious things would actually playout instead of falling apart. It's okay to breathe, break and bounce back.
IMO it is on Dezignful as the IGL to make the calls and take the responsibility. In this one clip he wanted to fight but I don't feel like he made that clear in coms, and when he was pushing, Itztimmy was healing. So Dezignful making a call to fight when his team isn't ready is a fault. Yes, a bang ult is a good idea here to relieve pressure, but Dezignful threw the fight by pushing up too far when his team wasn't ready to fight. As Hal said, Horizon doesn't fix this, and Catalyst did nothing for them as well. Wattson would be great to deal with grenade spam and ults, but that still doesn't fix the issue of Dezignful being thirsty too soon. Valk is great because it allows the team to get into a better position together and maybe even take a better fight (aka slows down Dezignful and keeps them from taking chip damage while trying to get out of ring). I agree with everyone that this team is frustrated from not finding success when they are obviously talented enough to do so and constantly swapping comp isn't helping them find their groove.
I’m not sure why they are playing BH valk and caustic. Especially in world’s edge. Every one is running caustic so they need a caustic to have a chance in fighting a caustic team. They also play edge so it doesn’t make sense why they don’t use valk. It would make their rotations more efficient. Not sure who wanted to try catalyst but that is a bad pick. Right now you have to run a caustic or a Watson otherwise you’re just going to get killed so easily. Catalyst does nothing for the team in this meta. But yeah the bang ult might’ve relieved pressure but I think they needed that for the third party. What they needed was a caustic and design playing slower. I’d have to rewatch but someone needs to tell him to chill and take it slow. The reason I think they needed caustic is because that caustic ult took so much space. There was only one direction they could come from to fight the team. With a caustic, the caustic could’ve taken in angle on the rocks where the ult was. But yeah design was pushing a fight by himself when Timmy called out that he was healing.

I use to think Hal was a walking delusional road rage of a person, but I was so far from the truth. I’m a huge Hal fan, things may getting heated because of the passion for the game, but this man is the CEO of apex. Best IGL in pro league, always setting up his team in the best position of the game, and what happens in game stays in game when it comes to his teammates. They have a tough day in scrims or ALGs, Hal’s mental, and his teammates mental are reset the next day.

Dezignful has a point in that you don't change up the game plan on a whim - especially in a competitive environment. However, he also needs to control his emotional outbursts more. It's not helpful and comes off as childish, entitled and obnoxious. It's very unprofessional and if you need to have those conversations - do them privately. This entire thing has been blown out of proportions because it was done publicly.
A lot of these gamers never been out never had actual good conversations with anyone in their life’s I get it is competitive but man is scrims for you to improve not quit and cry and run away childish.
Isnt the point of scrims to experiment with comps and see what works? Perks have shifted the Meta so EVERYONE is experimenting but his first intuition is to go Horizion, BH and bang thinking that'll do anything?

At 3:16 Timmy is right. Using Caustic to slow or attack a Caustic team is a good idea. Generally when I see another Caustic team I play in enemy gas on push and it works wonders especially since nox vision rolls over and has a perk to extend. And smart barrels always can create space for ground control. But these poor guys don't seem to gel and never have to me. Chemistry and communication is important to finding a good comp.

Dezign is correct if he is the IGL, he has a team second guessing every decision he makes. But it doesn't make sense being the IGL in the lead with a legend who is better suited for backline scans. I'm not even close to pro, but even Hal who is an IGL plays the movement character because when he says move you have to move with him because he knows how to get into and out of the fight. Timmy also needs to speak up a little more, he is focused on the game so much that they speak over him while he is second guessing the IGL the other two are already in a predicament.
I do not follow them, competitive Apex or anything related to them, but i did watch the Timmy's video about that tournament, and i already had thought that it was a toxic enviroment. Again, i've seen only a few instances, but man it's always been heated

Im new to apex so i cannot understand what call is right or wrong BUT you always do as the igl says.Even if he is wrong especially at scrims you act professionally and discuss it after the game without quitting and leave the team hanging
design might be wrong on the comp but he's right on the approach. They're far too passive there for far too long. Their only play in that situation is to force forward. Playing forward and left sandwiches the team zoneside. Anything else gets them killed. Timmy should have ulted then pushed once he popped a bat. They didn't have time to pop a medkit too. Nor could they afford to drop back to enemy.
Anyone notice that in EVERY argument Dez always go for Enemy first so no one blames him,,, yet he si always the one causing the L. Like what was he doing here so spread out making them focus him for a spam of grenades

I'm not the biggest Hal fan, but he was absolutely right in this video.
1. Why the fuck didn't Timmy Bang ult at all? He literally died with it, which is so troll. There was a perfect alley with a choke. They had height, why not?

4. Playing Catalyst in Caustic meta is troll. Caustic gas goes through catalyst walls.

They all lack each others perspective. In that situation dezign had some sort of path to get through and through his perspective he saw an opportunity the others didnt take and i think he is mad that if the others were exactly with him from the get go he thinks they all make it through the way he did. Respectively I can understand them all. So he made a point that the others didn't seem to respect due to the lack of perspective.

Thats the thing about esports and streaming. If you want to do it, get ready to have your actions for all to see and to be judged. This is an extremely immature person who needs to really work on his attitude and his mental. If this is how he's reacting in a team environment and especially in a scrim, thats bad. It aint worth it, drop him and get someone who can act like an adult and talk things out.
Honestly timmy probably should have Ulted when he said he wanted to. They got pinched by one team and the original team that would have got spaced away by the bang ult ended up swinging them AND would have given them time to fight the team that pinched them.

design might be a bit wrong in regards to the specific game they just lost but the fact they want to do their own thing and change everything theyve tried to practice while not listening to what their igl wants to do is super lame and puts everyone at odds so id assume they wont be playing together much longer
