- What starts off as a normal booster pack opening for Star Wars CCG Special Edirion quickly turns into a hazmat situation. Any idea what this stuff is inside of my booster packs?

That's so unfortunate, though I applaud you for sending it in for grading just to see how it would grade.
Not the sellers fault. The pack likely had something get into it at the factory or the glue had moisture from some other source.
Probably something dripped onto the pack and then it was sealed. Unless there was an opening in the pack the moisture that caused mold had to been sealed in.
Good news is, unless you are highly allergic to mold, it is harmless.
Wash your hands well and clean up the space you opened that pack.
Man. That was crazy. It was coated with mold. Jeez. Insane.
Best to only buy sealed packs from reputable sellers. Someone you know IRL or eBay accounts with lots of 100% positive feedback.
I just opened a pack tonight that has the exact same mold/dirt/dust. Any luck cleaning the cards? I bought two packs and now I'm nervous to open the second. Both of my packs also had the same crease!

Yeah you can’t pin anything on the seller. Even if he did know, no way to know that. Buying old cards is a gamble

Personally I'd either A) try to get my money back including a link to this video. Or B) leave negative feedback and trash all the cards. Mold like that will be all in the cardboard itself and not worth storing with other cards... just not worth it. Honestly low value stuff anyway, sucks but it's trash imo.

That looks like water damage unfortunately maybe from really high humidity or water damage on the packs
