Love the videos. Its taking me ages to do my portfolio. However one tging i have noticed on this video, which needs pointing out. When you have gone from gross to net you have stated the figure 27.02 then minus the 7 ....20.02 Then 20.02 x5 you have stated 100.13. So when doing these calculations DO NO ROUND YOUR CALCULATOR DOWN SO 30 /1.11 =27.027 27.027 -7=20.027 20.027 ×5 =100.13 Just letting people doing their ACS out there like myself. To be wary LOVE THE VIDEOS FANTASTIC. Dont want to come across as pedantic.Just staing a fact. Good luck everyone.
Because installers don't install appliances that require any kind of ventilation (Intergas are an exception in certain installations for cooling putposes) they almost disregard the ventilation requirements of appliances they encounter. I hope all installers will be reminded to assess the vents they come across to avoid potential risks. It maybe old tech.,but there are loads of appliances still out there waiting to bite the unwary or complacent!
@@kukiechag99 the fire should have a data badge with the heat input in kw. If you don’t have one and you don’t have the instructions you will need to speak to the manufacturer.

DFEs are the main offenders....
Derek is master .He simply explain all thing so is easy to understand .Thank you Derek .I will watch you as long as you going to be in youtube.
Very helpful
@tomkatgastraining what is the ventilation requirement for a flueless gas fire with a catalytic converter?
100cm2 up to 2.7kw then 55cm2 per kw over 2.7kw in a room
@@tomkatgastraining if it doesn't mention how many kw the fire has what do i put?

Am sorry mate, ive not long sat in the classroom with u doin this again and cant sit through it again 😂

Flueless is clueless 😂😂😂
Complete waste of time , it’s only there to generate money from the engineers
