There’s an old abandoned hotel from my hometown of La Salle, Illinois in the US. The Kaskaskia hotel was built in the 1920’s and was the life of the small mining town. In the 1940’s a woman fell from the balcony of the top floor (I want to say it was the eighth floor). That was the ballroom. The railings of the balcony were very high, about four feet. In some local legends she commutes suicide, in others she was pushed by a man. Regardless, the were reports of hearing heels dancing in the ballroom when it was locked, a woman’s scream sounding like it was falling to the ground, the elevator going to the basement regardless of whatever floor button was pushed, and coins jingling in the hallways. In the 90’s the hotel closed as people stopped going and the interior was damaged from neglect. It was bought by a local company that wanted to renovate it and reopen it, but it has been decades and there has not been any work on the hotel. The locals are so scared of it that they don’t walk on that side of the street. If anyone does the locals drive slow and stare at them with a scared expression (as the person is either a troublemaker, an outsider, or maybe a ghost). It actually got to the point where people stopped using the post office that was next to the hotel. The city had to build a new one on the other side of town. All the businesses that were connected to the hotel failed, and no one even tries to open shops on that block anymore
When I was little my family and me were going on a trip and stopped at a hotel pretty late. When we got to our room we immediately layed down and went to bed. I woke up later at around 2 in the morning and I kept hearing music coming from outside. I got up and went to the window to check and nothing was there. I told my mom and she said to just go back to bed. I woke up later in a state of Panic and was saying that something was wrong. I started crying and begging my mom to bring us somewhere else. When I eventually feel asleep I had a terrible nightmare that my family was in danger and that there was a carbon monoxide leak. I woke up freaking out again and had to be calmed down by calling the desk and them telling us that nothing was wrong. A few years later we were watching the news and there was a man who somehow made carbon monoxide leak all over the hotel and after he did he went outside and played music.

A hotel in New Delhi. I woke up one morning (5:30am) at a knock on the door. I expected the onion witch but it was a waiter holding 2 sandwiches full of onions. He said they served free breakfast to all their customers. I was startled but, who can refuse free food. I brushed my teeth and ate both the sandwiches. A few hours after sleep at about 11 am, I had diahhorea. I complained to the front desk but, to my horror they said they never give free breakfast to their customers. It was supposedly the ghost of a man who died of food poisoning in the same room as mine. He goes around every night at 5:30am to give sandwiches made of spoilt bread to the person staying in the very same room. I left the hotel the very instant. And the ghost of the guy who died of food poisoning guided me to another hotel. Thx brah!

Every night, above our room, we would hear dragging of chair(since the table are bolted to the wall),above us is our classmates, so we asked them why they're dragging chairs, and they said they heard it from above them. I love how a lot of the background photos to this video are the Stanley Hotel in Colorado. Which is known to be haunted on the 4th floor, room 401 in the hotel and room 217 are also the most active and haunted rooms as well. But good choice for background photos

I love how a lot of the background photos to this video are the Stanley Hotel in Colorado. Which is known to be haunted on the 4th floor, room 401 in the hotel and room 217 are also the most active and haunted rooms as well. But good choice for background photos

I went on holiday to Scotland with my family but the house we where going to stay in was still being made up and getting ready so me and my family had to go to the very same hotel.. the exact same thing happened to me but my parents said they couldn’t hear it but me and my brother did....
