@@JonIsJustTooLoud $2800 US Dollars puts in up there with a Martin D28. But I like the torrified top. And the sound even came through RUclips enough where I could realise this guitar is something really special!
@@JonIsJustTooLoud Hi, do you know if Takamine still make the EF75M TT model or similar only 100 were produced around 6 yrs ago or have they made another model similar to that spec now?
I love everything about this guitar, except the finish in the back of the neck. What a beautiful sound!! I know a lot of it is YOU, Jonathan 🤩 Man, this is so sweet! 🐰❤️🎸🎶🤝✌️
My handle is Rabidjack been using it for probably 30 years. I just liked the sound of the two words together. I guess I came up with it cause 30 years ago I was a completely different person. I'm a recovering alcoholic and addict. been clean and sober now for 14 years. I kind of went all out lol in my recovery. I'm a certified addiction counselor and an ordained minister. I live on the property of a rehab facility. i am a Vietnam vet, 18 months in combat. I made it home a lot of my friends did not. Sorry for going on so much. Anyway when I saw your name it just kind of struck me. God bless and have a great life. From Nashville Tn. keep on pickin and grinnin
Beautiful guitar and sounds so sweet. I was expecting it to be twice or more the price. Also Jonathan, as always, I really enjoyed your playing. Man, how you can make a guitar sing. Thanks for sharing Jonathan. Take care.
That’s the best looking acoustic so far Jon. The sound is just gorgeous. More Low end than my Tak, I do love that same crispy sound on my own it really sits well in any recording I’ve done.I love the feel of mine it has the same size nut but I have small hands, I imagine that it feels really great to play. Amazing playing as always 👍❤️
Beautiful sounding guitar. Quite like my ESF48C I bought around 17 years ago. Still looks and sounds like new. Even the particular smell when I open the hardcase. I will never part with that guitar.
Beautiful guitar. I love my Takamine 12 string so I know they are a quality build. I have big hands though so it might be a little narrow for me but georgios guitar and as always it sounds wonderful in your capable hands.
Had a takamine g series that was made in Korea it was outstanding. had to let it go hard times ect I was more broken hearted than when my dog died I nearly cried every day for a month 😝looking on the bright side when things pan out Mij takamine for ME😁
I have the cutaway version I bought about 10 months ago ... WOW ... plays as amazingly as it looks and it is incredibly versatile. Don't worry about no EQ - the preamp is fantastic all on its own - I have a Fishman Loudbox Performer - 180w P/C and the tone and volume are incredible! Better to have the effects externally or on your DAW if you are recording. You can get this as low as $2500 brand new - there is no better value in this price range from what I've seen.
@@JonIsJustTooLoud One other plug - I had an issue with my purchase and Tom Watters - the US National Sales Rep for Takamine, who has a number of youtube videos, personally helped me out with my purchase - world class organization all around!
Thank you for the video...I love Taks and only play them...I have been playing many years and this may sound like an ignorant question...but does the cutaway in the guitar give it a different voice? this will be my next guitar...and I do play lead and find myself at the low end of the neck I would give that up for a more finely toned instrument?
Wow it has a really great tone and Clarity to it. I am not a fan of the tobacco Sunburst Style but I love the inlays on the neck. For the body I would prefer some other colour. I have 2 Tak's a six string and a 12 string. One is black and one is natural colour
@Jonathan Koh hi, did you change the strings? Because I just got mine, and I find the sound a bit stiff and muffled... Like on a thinline model... It sounds much better in your video, I was wondering why (except for the fact that you play slightly better than me :-)
This guitar is so good looking. Unfortunately, I can't play it anywhere near me. I must just have to take a leap of faith and purchase it after saving some dough.
How much would a comparable Gibson acoustic guitar cost comparing it to this takamine? Like a Gibson with the same number of hours, same amount of money and time needed to make it. I'm curious how much is payed just for the name?
I can't say I'm into all the flower power on the fretboard and pickguard, but other than that it sounds and looks great. However, I'd rather buy a Parkwood guitar handcrafted from China as they never use laminate, and they tell you that upfront. Takamine is sneaky, know the difference folks. I own two guitars from them. As they were both gifts from my wife. But when a company is not upfront and honest I have a problem with that. 🤮
One of the best sounding guitars you've tested. Just the most balanced sound! Wow!
Glad you like it!...cause i'm loving it!!

Takamine is my favorite brand. Have owned the ST26 in white for 29 years. Still stays in tune, still sounds as great as it did brand new.
