Assorted felt colors
Cotton print fabric
Medium weight Heat and Bond
Medium weight fusible woven interfacing
Buttons to suit
Embroidery threads to suit
Fabric Glue
Extra strong thread
1 pair teddy Bear eyes, 6mm or 8mm
Polyester filling
General sewing requirements

Just finished my first chicken and wow!!! That was tricky. I'm not great at hand sewing so I chose this to practice and boy did I ever. It looks a little messy but cute overall. It's going to my niece as present (she loves chickens). Thanks for the pattern and instructions. I suffered but I'm happy about it 🤣

I love how you do a lot of hand sewing. I wish more young girls would learn how to hand sew. Thanks again for your tutorial. Some day I will make this chicken. I printed out the pattern. Right now I'm enjoying making you mannequin pin cushion. I.love these. I like making small things. Small hands work great. I've even made my daughter some clothes for her Monster High dolls. They're smaller than Barbie.

The pattern without the center gussets would make a great quilt appliqué pattern. I don’t have the time or fabric right now to design the quilt block I see in my head, so I’ll make sure to get the idea into my sketchbook to someday make a Funky Chicken Quilt with your drawing. It’s easier to use forceps to hold that curved needle for sewing. We use that when doing stitches sutures.

do you have a Rooster Pattern? Roosters are built a little differently and they have more established tail feathers (area) I'd love to see your ideas.
