Bronze activates general animations, in my opinion I tried No badge and there is no point in even attempting a steal lane, bronze is nice overall if you know how to position yourself. Gold/Hof is for that steal attempt on a fast break to do that foot ball catch

Great test but I wish you would have tested the effect the steal rating has on interceptions, not just the badge itself. For example is it worth going to 60 steal for bronze interceptor? I know a lot of builds do that but not sure if worth it
I believe the badge makes all the difference. I have a guy with bronze and activate one of the goats in mycareer that gives me 99 steal and I really don't feel a difference.
I have hof but it felt like intercepter got worse with the right stick spam patch. I didn’t spam that exploit but I did use the right stick for lane steals. Now I’m back to using square and it feels like I can’t catch anything

Yeah they don’t let us short arms get hella steals in the lane frfr. I have two different builds both silver interceptor and just as yiu said way easier to be in lane with silver + longer wingspan

Most nba players don’t need a plus 8 inch wingspan just to get steals. It’s not that big a part of basketball anyway. But the 2K community makes it such a big deal due to the lack of movement and latency on defense. Steals and blocks are the only way you can impact the game on that end of the floor. Cause you can’t do it with movement.

nah don’t go 60. bronze is useless and gives you slow animations that’ll end up just dragging you out of position. You’ll get more steals just holding RS up and getting deflections.
@@7eventy4u it's better then no badge and if all u got is bronze u not getting the db like animations. U have to be in the revivers pocket to get the steal if u getting dragged outta position it's on u . U mistimed the steal or u aimed in the wrong direction
I have builds with bronze, silver, and gold. Gold is a noticeable difference above the other 2 by far. I’m sure HOF is even crazier
