Love that you still love this game, but I probably won't play 2k ever again. Spent so much real life money making builds just for them to change the game all the time. They've never put out a complete game since 2018 when I started. Just too many other fun games
But I appreciate all the help you've given me along the way. I'll come back to your channel if I play it again
For sure if you are tired of 2K definitely step away from it and do things you will enjoy
I think it’s worth it for the better deflections on hands up defense alone as a big when you’re in good defensive position and guys have to pass out, bump steals against guys running into you etc happen way more frequently imo.
One of the most valid vids on steal I've seen so far. You showing that u don't need HOF interceptor to get passing lanes etc. Sometimes ppl don't think their skill is the issue. I've yet to learn how to steal on my 6'7 lock with only bronze badges.
If I can’t get it to 81 I don’t mess with it. If you’re playing a lane with 60 you better be sure you get the intercept with your reach or you’re gonna be stumbling 10 feet out of position. I prefer at least 81 and just spam when a pass might be coming and recover if it doesn’t happen.
the key was "well timed"...they'll eventually take the lanes spam out the game, either this year, next year, or further down the line.
Yeah with 60 you definitely have to time it right or you are going to give up a free bucket
@@TonicKeyboard Just a question since i have a center but can't seem to counter standing dunks that is at high lvls no matter if i have my hands up or jump 9 times out of 10 so i'm wondering if your near a center can the steal make the other center drop the ball/not catch it correctly or is there another thing i can do ?I tried high interior and high dunking stats too.
Put some respect on tonic underrated always putting on for the bigs, the man ain't 184-10 in the park for nothing 💪
Tonic, which build was that in LakerFan's latest? You were running the 2/3 but I dont think you have it on your channel.
Yo Tonic big fan of your vids. I've been meaning to ask, what hop jumper are you using for your 6'8 lock?
Is it worth going up to my max? I’m 7ft and maxed would be 67. Is it going to help animations more frequently?
Having 70 and right stick ripper is crazy on my 6'11" even better on my 6'10" where I stack it with glove at 72
As a 7foot would you go no steal and 70 layup or 70 steal and 55 layups
I would go 70 steal
@@TonicKeyboard my bad I meant 60 steal just for bronze interceptor
@@who_else_but_dee2821 I still like having the steal on the build forsure over layup, even though I think layup would be more fun
@@TonicKeyboard yo i’m making a 7ft center , would i notice a difference in 70 stl compared to 60 or is 60 good enuf?
will i notice a difference from 58 accel down to 52 accell? or should i stick w max accell
Is hof right stick ripper still worth it? On the fence between 95 and 96 steal on my 6'8 park big
I feel like right stick ripper was nerfed
@@goatbebryant4915 I always use it. I think it is if you go for on ball steaks with the right stick often enough. Most people just use square or X
I did the 95 I think 96 would be better.
It’s conflicting information cuz Lakerfan says Perimeter Defense is more important so he doesn’t touch steals. He’d rather go for perimeter cuz thru out the game you’ll be in pick & roll defense, you’ll have to pick up, switch, rotate etc. I say go for higher perimeter than 60 steal.
Laker never goes for steals, so he doesn't need it
video needed, thanks
Mozart tonic - nice touch.
So my 6'8 2way diming three level scorer got int, pick and right stick on bronze. Would it just be better to get bronze int and leave out the bronze int and pick?
Yeah you won't get much use out of bronze glove and right stick ripper. If you could get them to silver though they work pretty well on that level
I heard right stick ripper helps with lane steals. So why not add that extra 10 to steal?
Good idea! I got a 72 steal on my 6'8 so I can get bronze. Sometimes its enough, sometimes its not lol.
Yeah when you miss a steal with 60 you really miss 😂
Yes interceptor is a must imo
Timing is everything in 2k
I hear that
Yelp but I think everyone on the crt should have a steal
if someone can tell me what is better in my center, gold chase down artist or silver chase down artist with bronze interceptor jajaja I don’t know which one to choose
I have a 33 steal I don’t go for steals or pass lanes but playing good defense I get 2 a game
I got 70 on mine! Bronze right stick ripper and I promise it’s worth it even jus to help a little , first C had 60 and still was worth jus to tip a pass lane
Can you get lane steals with 60? I know it won’t be a ton i wonder if get some tho
@@MDrepresentahye
I have a similar build 60 is worth it. Makes no sense how build name is just 3 level threat 😂 The build names for 6’11 make no sense
72 mid 60 steal or 84 mid 25 steal (my 3 is 87)
