Good Video, I have the same boat and glad i watched this as others were drilling 1 1/2 holes near the drain plug and just didn't want that sinking risk, this video makes good sense and i don't need to drill other holes as I have some already drilled, how did you eventually connect the new switch ?
I just plug it in when get in the boat and prime it and it auto shuts off when primmed. When I leave the boat I just unplug it. Otherwise I frigging love it. It works really well

That pump draws 17amps most switches are not rated for that many amps. Need a 20 amp switch or a relay.

Haven’t done the switch. Just hook it up manually with the plug it came with it. Works great otherwise.
