  • Welcome back to the channel. In this video I install a Raw Water pump in my 2008 Double Eagle 176. I bought a SEAFLO 55-Series Washdown Pump Kit - 12V DC, 5.5 GPM, 70 PSI and installed it in the boat. I showed how I installed it step by step. I reviewed it, and showed it in action at the end of the video while out fishing. If you have any questions or comments please leave them in the comment section below. Be sure to leave a thumbs up, and SUBSCRIBE so you can see all of my current and future videos. Thanks for watching.

    Thanks for the video 👍
I fish off the Gold Coast , Australia so (salt water) , not sure where you fish, maybe lakes?
I just installed an onboard 25litre freshwater tank, don’t want extra salty water spraying all over my boat/deck/carpet and salt drying in the sun 🤙
25litre is more than enough for one fishing trip for me ✌️

That’s a smart idea for keeping the boat clean and unsalty

Works awesome. Beats scrubbing the blood out of the boat every fish caught. Cheers

Was super easy to install. Works great. I wish it came with a rocker switch is my only beef. But otherwise it works great. Cheers

Good Video, I have the same boat and glad i watched this as others were drilling 1 1/2 holes near the drain plug and just didn't want that sinking
risk, this video makes good sense and i don't need to drill other holes as I have some already drilled, how did you eventually connect the new switch ?

I just plug it in when get in the boat and prime it and it auto shuts off when primmed. When I leave the boat I just unplug it. Otherwise I frigging love it. It works really well

That pump draws 17amps most switches are not rated for that many amps. Need a 20 amp switch or a relay.

Haven’t done the switch. Just hook it up manually with the plug it came with it. Works great otherwise.
