    That family was blessed with such a beautiful Australian shepherd.

    I think she was a good girl. My year old Border Collie is being groomed for the first time and she is crazy full of energy. This dog was so calm and sweet.

    I think this is the Calmest Aussie Shepherd I've ever seen on a grooming table. Her markings are gorgeous, and this grooming makes her suitable for a centerfold. Great job!

    This is the first video I watched from your channel. I have two mini / toy Australian Sheppard dogs. This breed is very smart and you did a nice job keeping her on track. Both my little dogs need obedience classes LOL! Mine are still puppies, so they are getting better every day. I will be watching more of your videos because I learned from this one.

    I love Australia Shepherds we use to have them on our farm there so great with cows , ours got washed in the pond and by being rained on , they weren’t house dogs They would brush themselves on our big cow brush and by rolling in the grass We would trim and brush 3 times a year They actually where pretty clean I now have a mini Aussiedoodle because I moved to an apartment and she’s more work then the farm dogs and she gets groomed every 6 weeks I would recommend anyone getting an Australian Shepherd get a Merle like Dolly there hair is the best , solid black and reds hair is very thick and course . Perfect groom !😊 They do have mini Australian Shepherds now there called American Shepherds now You can even register them with the AKC I almost got one but I don’t want the shedding

    • @TheLuvOfDogs
      @TheLuvOfDogs  Год назад +1

      Yeah I’ve always wanted an Aussie but the shedding 😂😂 they are beautiful dogs and yes, that is so true about the color differences with the coats. I told myself I would compromise with a mini Aussie doodle but we have 3 dogs already so not right now lol

    Beautiful girl. When drying and the spot clip she looked like she was being a little bit of a priss. Like she was being good and suddenly realized it so she played a bit coy lol
    Also I love the little red bows❤

    a comment on your reason for not getting one... :) I have two miniature american shepherds - the little one "tutu" is only 12 lbs. still requires lots of mental stimulation - but she has an older brother that keeps her busy. They are definitely some beautiful dogs :)

      They are beautiful dogs! I wish I could but I don’t have the time or space at the moment. If I had a farm I would get one in a heartbeat!

    I have a 6 month old Australian Shepherd. So how often do u recommend the get bathed and groomed

    • @TheLuvOfDogs
      @TheLuvOfDogs  9 месяцев назад

      Honestly it really depends on how often yours gets dirty. I usually recommend every 4-6 weeks for heavy shedders to keep it under control

  • @margiesorrells5377

    You are not washing very gently spraying her face crazy

    • @TheLuvOfDogs
      @TheLuvOfDogs  2 месяца назад +1

      When you wash a dog you don’t wash “gently”. You scrub the dog like you would your own hair so you can penetrate through the dirt and ACTUALLY clean the dog. You don’t wipe the dog or whatever it is you’re talking about. Sometimes, I really wonder when people make comments like this, how do y’all wash y’all body parts. Like, seriously, it makes me feel like y’all still be dirty. 🙄🤦🏾

    Don't you get soap in her eyes?

    • @TheLuvOfDogs
      @TheLuvOfDogs  3 месяца назад

      Not really. Most dogs close their eyes and if I do I rinse it out with cool water so there is no irritation

    She's too rough on the dogs face, and having that pressure from the water on her face of course she's going to try to much for the dog. Water probably going in her ears too. . Be more gentle and that will work better.

    • @TheLuvOfDogs
      @TheLuvOfDogs  6 месяцев назад

      I tilt the ears so that doesn’t happen. But, she swims regularly so water goes in the ears often.

    Good grooming ..it's a shame some one cut the tail off ..what is wrong with the human race ?? That they think its ok to cut off a dogs tail ..it's so inhumane .

    • @TheLuvOfDogs
      @TheLuvOfDogs  Год назад +1

      Thank you so much!! 🙏🏾🥰❤️ tails are generally docked when they are really young because of breed standards

    • @user-ym2wx1yt7k
      @user-ym2wx1yt7k 11 месяцев назад

      Yep, it's an American ego thing to cut the tail off.

    • @leb7346
      @leb7346 9 месяцев назад

      And some Aussies and Heelers are born with a short tail, so not all are docked as a baby.

    • @AussieDobergirl
      @AussieDobergirl 8 месяцев назад

      Aussie Shepherds naturally come with 3 tail lengths, natural bob tail, half tail and full tail. I'm in Australia and tail docking has been illegal for many years but there are still bob tail Aussies. Mine all have full tails 😊

    • @jfresh2054
      @jfresh2054 8 месяцев назад +1

      A long time ago they got their tails either bitten off or stuck while working on the farm. This happened a lot to the point where it was decided to cut the tail off at a very young age. It was necessary given the job these dogs had
