Loving it again!! Please don’t be embarrassed missing mate, 99% of the viewers are much worse in playing chess than you are. Thnx for leaving that game in there !!
Last 3 weeks went from 843 to 1000 ratting. My favorite part about your videos besides you taking time to explain situations is your pace of thinking, reading the board and making a decision. Never rushed which is something I adopted and results are showing 💪
I was stuck below 100 elo on rapid for the longest time. Thanks to your videos i'm now 241. been using the vienna opening and caro cann as my main studies with your videos. thanks for helping me improve. i had one stretch of winning 11 games in a row. never had that happen before!!
Alex I recently found your video, and through you chesable. The way you explain your thought process slowly while letting the clock roll is great. Showing confidence in your method. Currently on your short and sweet E4 course. Good stuff man!
At 21:14, second game, the mating pattern that Banzea is talking about is exactly the same as in the first game! If you want to know more about Mating patterns, and this mating pattern, I recommend the book by Murray Chandler "How to Beat your Dad at Chess". It contains 50 mating patterns that Murray calls " Deadly Checkmates". This one is number 2 in the Book.
I bought the ambush course, can't wait to study it, please continue this series (especially the vienna) untill 2500 elo haha, please make a long series
4:23 I got that rare move the other day too and played Bc4 like you did and it went ok. But I checked it out and Nd5 looks really juicy too. It is surprisingly difficult to kick the knight from that position. If you they play a primitive c6 they are shooting themselves in the foot, because it takes away a good square for the knight.
nice one, will definitely watch this one. started playing e4 few months back after being a london only player since i started 2 years ago and i often have more fun games than with the london.
Ohhh so good! I use the Vienna but I end up almost always in the same pathways which may not even be the best since I don't know much theory! This video is very much appreciated, I like your calm way of explaining things... thanks _/\_
Thank god that Eric hosen popularized the Stanford gambit instead of the Vienna Gambit. We get to enjoy its obscurity for now. It has a good balance between soundness and practicality. Not to mention, you can get to play it much more frequently.
Day 1 ,2nd video , improving my Vienna, but mainly what to do in the middle game. Watching these real games while learning is really effective for me since i can indirectly improve my positional understanding and planning
love the video man, thanks for these! I watch alot of your rating climbs (london and caro kann ones are amazing) do you have any specific videos of playing the caro kann against the accelerated panov? It wrecks me everytime
Totally thought i was subbed and just realized i wasnt… got a lot of catching up to do! Love your videos and looking forward to watching this series!!!
I have to go back to work soon . But I don't want to, I wanna sit around learning chess all day long. Chess is addictive and you are making it more addictive.
Hi alex, I recently found your channel and I am amazed by your instructive videos and also your chessable courses, are you planning on making a chessable course about caro kann defense? I really enjoy how you teach chess, keep up 🤍
"knight gonna go probably like b8 which is kind of sad if you think about it....but i lost my childhood to playing this game so. not sure which is more sad." DAM BRO
i love your content Alex ! I just think you are playing way to much in low elos, the people looking chess videos are not necessary Big beginner and are often stuck between 900-1200, starting 600 makes some games less interesting regardless this time they were not so bad i think the opposit answer are not so representative what we should go against ;) greetings from a 1200 belgium player
Normally I'd consider just waiting out the last 6 minutes unsportsmanlike. But not after the opponent/jackass marches all his pawns down to the 6th rank because he thinks it's "funny".
Disrespectful approach to all those who have an „actual“ rating of 600….. which type of character plays cats and mice with an inferior opponent with no pieces on the board left and continues laughing about his naughty way of creating a checkmate? A very poor character and definitely no entertainment and value to the community!!😒
gave a dislike Bro. Been loving ur videos, for real they are of real help but in game 3, Yuk! you've been playing chess for like a thousand years of course your good. But play well.
Haha trying to copy Chessbrah is like BBC replacement of Jeremy Clarkson on Top gear totally worthless.. You're not Aman ..... You need to watch Daniel be authentic and not a copy cat

At 33:30 Black is down 2 Rooks, 1 Bishop, and 2 pawns - offers a draw. Best laugh I've had all day. 😄
🤣🤣🤣
Relatable though
@@The_Memer6969you can relate right XD
By now I'm getting absolutely everything from my opening reportoire from Alex. So happy you are covering the Vienna once again
That is very much appreciated!
would love to see a climbing the rating ladder series on the vienna!
That’s what we do 👀

omg Im so happy you are covering this opening aswell, I come to this channel for all my repertoire caro, london and now vienna
Glad to help!
13:34 queen takes knight my man.... Aaaahhh. Your streams are so fun and instructive, it's hard to tell for what do I watch you more 🤣
49:33 had me in tears yo, thanks for the content!

I'm so hyped about this climb, thank you Alex, you are my favourite RUclipsr and chess teacher

Playing 1.e4 is not stressful they said…
I bought the ambush course, can't wait to study it, please continue this series (especially the vienna) untill 2500 elo haha, please make a long series
Do you reccomend the ambush course?
23:00. 'Oh no my bishop' don't work after the queen sac because black takes the other bishop, thereby giving himself a flight square.

GREAT WORK AMAZING CONCEPTS YOU CONCIEVE BE BLESSED BE LOVE THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR HARD WORK !!!
nice one, will definitely watch this one. started playing e4 few months back after being a london only player since i started 2 years ago and i often have more fun games than with the london.
At 1650 rating, against the Vienna Gambit most of my opponents still go exf4 or d6, both of which are bad moves. I still rarely get d5.
Great stuff.would love to see a speed run with your Vienna :) Kind regards
Great video !! One of the best chess content creator there is

27:14 - "Queen to e6 'only move'". Queen to d6 would cover everything.

@Alex Banzea haha all good. You've got plenty of content so I'm sure I'll see it in a video eventually 😉
Totally thought i was subbed and just realized i wasnt… got a lot of catching up to do! Love your videos and looking forward to watching this series!!!
This one video alone increased by rating by 98 points. Thank you.

Glad to help haha
People don't really expect you to think about moves... 😂👍 Made my day 🙏
Haha
Fantastic explanation. Your videos are excellent
I love this opening. Thank you.
OMG are you gonna do a vienna climb too? I was preparing myself to have to switch to london from the vienna
1.e4 rating climb with vienna indeed!
I play the Vienna all the time (2000 lichess)...I love it
Thanks a lot ❤️
Hi alex, I recently found your channel and I am amazed by your instructive videos and also your chessable courses, are you planning on making a chessable course about caro kann defense? I really enjoy how you teach chess, keep up 🤍
Hey Alex! Loved the video!
Quick question, where are you from? I love the accent.
You mean the british accent?! Romania of course! Haha
Thanks for the content! Love this! ❤️
I think we can move onto the -- FOLLOWING game. "Next" game doesn't have the same ring to it.
11:30 - bishop takes on f7, forking queen and king. Am I missing something?
Great video as always
I am so happy that you make these videos. I can use it to learn my daughter to play simple chess 💪🔥
Omg I’m saying bad words during the videos, protect your daughter Michal! Stay safe friend ❤️
Great explanation
Thank you soo much for the valuable content alex...
@Message-AlexBanzea.. spammer 😅😅
bro that thumbnail is hilarious
Subscribed. Great channel.
Oh no my favourite Vienna, giving the tricks + traps away 😅 just kidding! thank you for covering this, these rating climbs are great to learn 🙂
Thanks for some great content
Please do the French defense for black
Just started playing chess a few months ago
This opening has helped me go from about 800 to 983 or something like that
1170 now... but with none of your fancy sacrifices
Hello Alex, love your work here. How do you develop from 1. e4 e5 2. Nc3 Nf6 3. f4 d6? Any tricks and traps? Cheers,
Game 2: ruclips.net/video/pKG27N33kPw/видео.html
Many thanks
"knight gonna go probably like b8 which is kind of sad if you think about it....but i lost my childhood to playing this game so. not sure which is more sad."
DAM BRO
Great video... Thank you.👍
Crazy that this is free.
In game 3, wasn't it better to defend the E pawn before taking the rook? That rook wasn't going anywhere.
Do you have a Vienna course, though? The chessable course links to a london course? Not sure if I'm just stupid
24:52 dude your accent vanished when you did that funny voice 😂
Lol!
More Vienna rating climbs! 😄
New to this. What is the difference between Subscribed and Join? I have Subscribed and I like the lower rating level moves explained. What is Join?
The main reason I like about this video is that Bro is playing in low elo which is useful for me as a 700 rapid player
How am I not Subbed yet?!
Holyshit i love these vids, very informative
Too kind!
Will you have something like this tailored to 2000ish players?
Bro really bullied that guy who offered draw in game 3, I mean bro can ladder mate in 1 him with rook but still trap him with pawns and bishop.
watching you, everything looks so easy
Why not at 48:12 move 17.. Qh4, Qg5, Qh6, Qg7#? Or on move 21.. Qd2, Qh6, Qg7#?
He can try to stop it with …kh7
@@AlexBanzea Thanks Im learning so much from your vids 🙏🏾
13:33 Qxg6 works right? Oh i just kept watching nvm
Sounds like J'Zargo playing chess
Alex, that's Beethoven in the picture; not Mozart. 😆
I tried Vienna Gambit for the first time in otb chess tournament and got the win
At 13:30 he had queen takes knight, but he didn't see that checkmate i guess.
Please make more videos on the vienna
I just tried the Vienna for the first time and my opponent blundered their queen on move three after d5 Nx Qx
Missed queen sac mate @ 13:34 ?
19:38 Why not take the pawn at b7 with the bishop? Did you miss it or am I the idiot? :D
Didn’t like that he can play …Rb8 and then win my b2-pawn!
@@AlexBanzea I was The idiot
@@mightyUFO To be fair I was thinking the same. Figured it was a poisonous pawn since he didn’t play it. Lol
@13:33 Qxg6
I was just blindfolded by this idea of going Qh5-Rg5-Qxh7 followed by Rh5 mate so I forgot about it haha
At 12:01 wouldn’t bishop f7 fork be better
What if he takes it?
21:21 why not b4
That’s way too weakening!
@@AlexBanzea but wins a bishop
Nvm he has queen A3 check
The Nimzowitsch Defense! Lol not an opening for under 1000 rated players.
i love your content Alex ! greetings from a 1200 belgium player
@Message-AlexBanzea.. oh dude i really though i had won something but im chess player i dont have 50iq yo think you could be him in any world
you can expect to get to play the vienna gambit about every 5 games, but you can go for as much as 13 without getting one. IN low ratings, I mean.
8:33 is bishop b5 bad?
kicking his rook out and winning the open file
and if he trades your queen is more active knight is no longer pinned
11:10 doesn't Bxf7 win the queen?
What if he takes?
Hilarious content when that guy abandoned the game, lol
13:35 take the knight? :)
Oh sorry didn’t mean to rub it in, you saw it after
@@edcraddock9868 no worries haha

It's chess my guy. Let people have fun. They can resign at any time.
